You have been taught and instructed in the ordinances and precepts of Adonai. You continually learn the limits and boundaries that God has established. His laws govern your life; He has engraved and inscribed them on your heart. You exercise these principles and decrees, in accordance with God's will.

Now because of your understanding of Adonai's word, the praises gush forth from your lips. Your language and speech is full of adoration and thanksgiving. You boast and glory in the Lord your God. Your mouth pours forth songs and hymns; for you have been captured by Jehovah and you are consumed with Him. You will never cease to cry "Hallelujah".

You have discovered that the Lord's code of wisdom, found in His commandments and charges, is just and righteous. He has shown you what is right and normal. You have learned what is ethical and what will bring you continued deliverance, victory, and prosperity.

Therefore, you use your tongue to testify and witness to His promises, as you dwell in Adonai's word. Talk, sing, or shout about everything that He says and utters. You know that His intentions toward you are only good

++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
The most important thing to you is to gain more understanding and discernment of Adonai's word. You desire to have insight into God's commands and promises. You, therefore, come before Him, entreating Him in supplication that He would grant your request. He hears your cry of faith and He knows that you are attentive to and consider everything He says. You have distinguished yourself because you want Him to instruct and teach you in His ways.

You also approach Jehovah to ask Him to show you favor and mercy. You need Him to be gracious in showing you consideration. When you come into His presence, you want Him to bend down and incline His ears in your direction. You know that if He turns towards you and clears away any distractions, then you will receive what you desire.

You know that the Lord your God has snatched you out of the enemy's hands. He has rescued and delivered you. He has stripped and plundered your enemies. No trouble can continue to hold on to you. You have been released from sin and guilt; you have been torn away from the jaws of death. All of this comes about through the power of Adonai's word.

1-14-08 Psalm 119:145, 154 The Lord Your Advocate!

Psalm 119: 149, 154 (NAS)
Hear my voice according to Thy lovingkindness; Revive me, O LORD, according to Thine ordinances...Plead my cause and redeem me; Revive me according to Thy word.

Psalm 119: 149, 154 (NLT)
In your faithful love, O LORD, hear my cry; in your justice, save my life... Argue my case; take my side! Protect my life as you promised.
++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
At times you have plead with Adonai to hear your cry. You have wanted Him to listen with attention and interest, when you have raised your voice to Him. You want Him to grant your requests.
You do not need to be afraid that He has turned a deaf ear to you, for He listens to you in His goodness, kindness, and faithfulness. You can come before His throne without reproach or shame, for He is always willing to extend His mercy to you.

Jehovah has made you alive. He has restored you to health, bringing you back from death. He has brought you prosperity in every area of your life. He has quickened and refreshed you, for He has judged your case and decided in your favor.

Now the Lord your God contends for you. When your enemies bring a suit against you, Adonai is the One who conducts your case. He is the One who will calm the strife and settle each quarrelsome dispute. He is your kinsman-Redeemer who avenges and ransoms you.

1-13-08 Psalm 119:98-100 Wisdom In God's Word

Psalm 119:98-100 (NAS)
Thy commandments make me wiser than my enemies, For they are ever mine. I have more insight than all my teachers, For Thy testimonies are my meditation. I understand more than the aged, Because I have observed Thy precepts.

Psalm 119:98-100 (NLT)
Your commands make me wiser than my enemies, for your commands are my constant guide. Yes, I have more insight than my teachers, for I am always thinking of your decrees. I am even wiser than my elders, for I have kept your commandments. I am even wiser than my elders, for I have kept your commandments.

+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

Because you are submitted to Adonai and give heed to His commandments and precepts, you are teachable and easily instructed in His wisdom. You know that God's word has put your life in order. Your mind, your words, and your actions all reflect the wisdom of God. The wisdom of your enemies does not come close to the wisdom that God's word has given you. They have not taken the time to put God's commandments in their hearts. You, however, have hidden and concealed them within you. They are always there as a source from which you draw.

You spend time meditating and reflecting on the laws of Jehovah. You are devoted to prayer and study. When you commune with your brothers and sisters, you speak and testify of all that the Lord is doing and has done. You even sing, giving witness to the wonderful things of God. Because of this, you have more understanding and insight than those who are teachers. You have become prudent and circumspect. Through your comprehension, you now are prospering and successful.

You pay attention to and observe Adonai's precepts. You seek the Lord's guidance and wisdom in all things. Because of your commitment to the words of God, Adonai can entrust you with the care of others. Your practice separates and distinguishes you from even those older than you. Some of those in authority do not have as much cunning, diligence, discernment, or eloquence as you, for they have not sought nor required God's word daily.

Because you have given the Lord and His Word first place in your life, God has rewarded you richly.
