1-12-07 Psalms: 45, 46 How to Speak to Kings!

Psalm 119: 45, 46 (NAS)
And I will walk at liberty, For I seek Thy precepts. I will also speak of Thy testimonies before kings, And shall not be ashamed.

Psalm 119: 45, 46 (NLT)
I will walk in freedom, for I have devoted myself to your commandments. I will speak to kings about your decrees, and I will not be ashamed.

*********************************************************************

You have devoted your life to seeking Adonai. You frequently go before His throne, inquiring for and requiring direction for your life. You study His ways and practice what His word says. You attend to God's statutes and precepts; so that if you ever have to go before the Lord of Hosts in review, you will pass His muster. You have committed yourself to following Him and He has appointed you to oversee His affairs.

Because of how you live your life, you are able to walk about with freedom. The Lord your God has put you into a broad and wide place. He has enlarged your borders; He has blessed and prospered you.

You are now a witness of God's divine laws; you are able to give reliable evidence of His goodness and mercy. You solemnly affirm, exhort, and admonish others about how He has restored your life and has relieved you of the pressures of sin.
Therefore, Adonai will bring you before kings to declare and testify of His promises and commands. You will even sing in their presence. Sometimes you may be called upon to bring warnings or charges from the very throne room of God. If you should counsel or advise these rulers, you will never be disappointed nor put to shame.

1-11-08 The Lord's Unfailing Love Psalm 119:42

Psalm 119:41, 42 (NAS)
May Thy lovingkindnesses also come to me, O LORD, Thy salvation according to Thy word;So I shall have an answer for him who reproaches me, For I trust in Thy word.

Psalm 119:41, 42 (NLT)
LORD, give to me your unfailing love, the salvation that you promised me.Then I will have an answer for those who taunt me, for I trust in your word
++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
Every day the Lord sends you new mercies and kindnesses. You can trust His faithfulness and His goodness. All of this comes to you as water flowing from His house to yours.
Now, when you cry out for help, the Lord brings you salvation and deliverance. He liberates you and makes you victorious. What He has promised you through His word, He commands to come to pass. He hears whatever you say in your heart and if it is in alignment with His word, He grants even those silent requests.

Others may reproach, taunt, and defy you, but you know that you have the words to answer each and every charge. They may try to jeopardize your future and through their words, you may feel that you have nothing ahead of you except a cruel, harsh winter. You, however, should not respond to these negative words and thoughts. Instead you should respond as a witness for the word of the Lord. Declare Adonai's promises in response to their warnings and threatenings. Sing of the goodness of the Lord your God. In this way, you will put your enemies to flight.
Keep your trust in God and His word and you will be secure. Be bold and confident, for He has made you safe.

1-10-08 Enduring With Joy and Gladness Col 1:11

Colossians 1:11 (NAS)
strengthened with all power, according to His glorious might, for the attaining of all steadfastness and patience; joyously

Colossians 1:11 (Philips)
We pray that you will be strengthened from God’s glorious power, so that you may be able to pass through any experience and endure it with joy.

Colossians 1:11 (NLT)
We also pray that you will be strengthened with his glorious power so that you will have all the patience and endurance you need. May you be filled with joy,

You have your own natural ability and strength that is inherent in your physical makeup. However, it is essential that you not rely totally on that natural strength. Adonai desires to make you capable, strong, and powerful in and for every circumstance, but it is only through His dominion and power that you receive the strength you need.

He wants you to exert moral power and excellence in your soul. He wants to give you the power and influence to gain riches and wealth. The force of the armies and hosts of heaven are also available to you . Through you, Jehovah manifests His glory and majesty.

After you receive His strength, you will find that you have the steadfastness and constancy to endure. No trial or suffering can cause you to swerve from your faith and purpose. You will be able to wait patiently, as you persevere. You will always appear brave and calm, no matter what. You will not perish, but outlast your enemies. You will have no need to retaliate, but you will live and survive. And all of this, you will do with joy and gladness

1-9-08 Keeping Spiritually Alert! 1 Cor. 16:13

1 Corinthians 16:13 (NAS)
Be on the alert, stand firm in the faith, act like men, be strong.

1 Corinthians 16:13 (Philips)
Be on your guard, stand firm in the faith, live like men, be strong!

1 Corinthians 16:13 (NLT)
Be on guard. Stand true to what you believe. Be courageous. Be strong.

It is important that you stay awake, keeping yourself spiritually alert. You must be watchful and vigilant. Therefore, rouse yourself from sleep and inactivity, which keep you in obscurity and a state of non-existence. Instead place yourself in the markets and thoroughfares, where you will be seen publicly.

You should stand fast in your faith and your reliance on and trust in Jesus. Adhere to ithese in all things. Keep on persevering and don't become discouraged or fearful. You must remain stationary at your post, abiding where you have been appointed.

You have been established in the covenant of the Lord Jesus. Therefore, continue in that covenant. Remain upright and active in the position that has been ordained and purposed for you.

So act like the man that you are and be strong. Yeshua, your Lord, has empowered you and made you mighty. As an honorable and noble ambassador of the Kingdom of Heaven, you have dominion, for the Lord has given you His authority. You are a true dignitary, who manifests the power of your King!

1-8-07 The Lord Your Strength! Psalms 89:17

Psalm 89:17 (NAS)
For Thou art the glory of their strength, And by Thy favor our horn is exalted.

Psalm 89:17 (NLT)
You are their glorious strength. Our power is based on your favor.

At times you may feel strong and mighty; however, compared to the strength and might of Adonai, your strength is small and puny. You are wise when you realize that you must rely on His strength alone. When you do this, the ability and power that you display will shine with the Lord's glory. His grandeur and majesty will radiate from you. Those who see you will give honor to the most High God for what He has done in your life.

It is by God's grace that you are able to stand. Through His grace, kindness, and favor you are strengthened. Yes, you have power, but you retain that power only by Jehovah's good will and delight in you. He is the One who exalts you, raising you higher than your enemies. Because He has elevated you, you have dignity. He has made you beautiful, safe, healthy, and prosperous. He causes your adversaries to look up to the horn of your power and strength, for God has placed you over them. You are high enough to put your heel on their heads

1-7-07 A Fresh Start Genesis 28:15

Genesis 28:15 (NAS)
"And behold, I am with you, and will keep you wherever you go, and will bring you back to this land; for I will not leave you until I have done what I have promised you."

Genesis 28:15 (NLT)
What’s more, I will be with you, and I will protect you wherever you go. I will someday bring you safely back to this land. I will be with you constantly until I have finished giving you everything I have promised.

Adonai has promised to watch over His people. As His child, He constantly observes and gives heed to you. He has saved your life and now He guards, protects, and keeps you. He is with you wherever you go, even though you traverse the land many times. He is with you as you live and He will be with you when you die.

If you move away from the path that He has chosen for you, He will turn you back. He will always restore you and give you a fresh start. He is able to reverse anything that has hindered you, bringing you back to your original starting place.

He has given you land and a territory over which you rule. No one will keep you from possessing what the Lord has bestowed on you. Jehovah has promised it to you. You know you can trust His declarations and commands, for God's word does not return to Him void. It accomplishes all that He has said. You, therefore, are assured to receive what He has promised.

1-6-08 The Sword of the Lord! Jer. 47:6, 7

Jeremiah 47: 6, 7 (NAS)
Ah, sword of the LORD, How long will you not be quiet? Withdraw into your sheath; Be at rest and stay still. How can it be quiet, When the LORD has given it an order? Against Ashkelon and against the seacoast—There He has assigned it.

Jeremiah 47: 6, 7 (NLT)
Now, O sword of the LORD, when will you be at rest again? Go back into your sheath; rest and be still! But how can it be still when the LORD has sent it on an errand? For the city of Ashkelon and the people living along the sea must be destroyed.

You know that the Lord has called you into His service. He has anointed you and appointed you to speak for Him. He has given you the sword of the Spirit and has made your tongue as sharp as a two-edged sword. You speak life to those appointed to life, but those appointed unto death hear only death in your words.

The words that come forth from your mouth can lay waste and make the enemy's camp a place of desolation. When you attack your foes, with God' word coming forth from your mouth, you will smite them down and slay them. Jehovah has made you a sword of the Lord to bring ruin to the Adversary.

However, the enemy has attacked you; he has tried to frighten you into submission. He wants you to be quiet and passive, withdrawing from the front line of the battle. He wants you to retreat, exposing your undefended back.

The Lord, however, has not called you to remain quiet and inactive. He has given you a command and your orders are to go where ever he directs you. He has assigned and designated you for this task. Therefore, go against those who have weighed you in the balance. Even though they may find you wanting, remember that you are the "sword of the Lord."
