12-16-06 Genesis 28:15

And behold, I am with thee, and will keep thee in all places whither thou goest, and will bring thee again into this land; for I will not leave thee, until I have done that which I have spoken to thee of.

The Lord Jehovah has charge over your life. He guards you, keeping watch over you to protect you. You are His treasure and He retains you in His memory at all times. He celebrates your life.

Wherever you walk, He is with you, preserving you and observing all you do. You, therefore, can be at ease on your journey; for God will always keep His promises to you. He will always bring you safely back home. On your very own specific plot of land, He will restore and refresh you.

Yeshua will never leave you or forsake you. He will not leave you behind, abandoning and neglecting you. He will not desert you, but repair and restore you. Whatever He has promised and commanded concerning you, He will do. All will be accomplished and produce fruit for you. Those things that you are waiting on have already been prepared. You will receive them at the appointed time; for they are ordained by God's word.

So celebrate and sing! You already possess all that He given you!

12-14-06 Psalms 14:2

You have probably heard God referred to as the "man upstairs"; however, Jehovah the Lord is more than just that "man". He is the Supreme God, the Creator and Upholder of the universe. He deserves your respect and your honor.

The Lord Jehovah has His dwelling and abode in heaven; from His throne, He looks down upon the men of the earth. If it were possible, you would see Him leaning over the banister of heaven searching for His people who have put their faith and trust in Him. He observes and watches to see those who are prudent, circumspect, and wise. He is interested in finding men and women who truly understand and comprehend His nature. To these, He gives more insight so that they can teach others about Him. Those who are diligent and take time to seek after Adonai are prospered in their search; they become more successful than their peers. Since they care about the things of God, the Most High cares for them.

Therefore, you should make it your goal to daily seek after and worship Adonai, your Almighty God. Then, when He looks down from heaven, He will be blessed in what He sees in your life and in return, He will bless you.

12-13-06 Psalms 14:1

Only fools say in their hearts, "There is no God." They are corrupt, and their actions are evil; no one does good!

At this time of year, especially, it is difficult to consider that there are people who do not believe in God. However, around the world there are many people who do not believe or their belief is in the wrong thing. There are many "gods", but there is only One True Supreme God. Those who believe in and trust Him excel and are bright lights in this dark world. Because they are the beloved of Adonai, the Most High God, they make excellent chief overseers, superintendents, and directors.

However, there are people that God calls fools. These senseless people often say or just think that there is no God. Because of this contemptuous attitude, these "fools" languish, wither, and fail. They often look and act droopy and sunken. Instead of being bright like the people of God, they are faded, even though they boast and act proudly.

They may appear enlightened and intelligent, but their consciences have been seared by sin. They are full of corruption, decay, and ruin, which are revealed in their perverted and destructive actions. What they do is abhorrent, abominable, and detestable in the sight of the Lord, for all that they do is severe, ruthless, and abusive. They are wicked and wanton and do not know how to be good, pleasant, and agreeable. They are evil people with no joy.

You, however, are exactly opposite to these fools. In your belief, you find favor and happiness. You know the value of your life and the lives of others. Your right thoughts and actions produce kindness and understanding. In all you do, you reflect Adonai, the God in whom you trust.

Psalms 13:5, 6

But I have trusted in Thy mercy; my heart shall rejoice in Thy salvation. I will sing unto the LORD, because He hath dealt bountifully with me.

Sometimes it is difficult to know who to trust. Some people try to protect themselves by withholding their trust. However, that kind of attitude only produces isolation and more distrust.

You, however, have learned and have decided that you can put your trust in Adonai, Almighty God. When you do this, the Lord gives you confidence, boldness, and security. You can feel so safe in His hands, that you have no care. He has shown you only His goodness, kindness, and faithfulness. You can approach Him with no shame, for mercy flows from His throne of grace to cover you. Now your heart and soul are able to rejoice and be glad, for you have seen the salvation and deliverance of Jehovah the Lord. Your life has become one of welfare, prosperity, and victory. You have been liberated from trouble.

Therefore, you should sing unto Jehovah (Jesus Christ), as you travel along. He is the One True God and is worthy to receive your praises and your songs. The Lord your God has dealt you a full hand and has recompensed and repaid your past. He has given you bountiful blessings. And your fruit always ripens on the vine.

12-11-06 Isaiah 29:19

Isaiah 29:19 (KJ21)
The meek also shall increase their joy in the LORD, and the poor among men shall rejoice in the Holy One of Israel.

The afflicted also shall increase their gladness in the LORD, And the needy of mankind shall rejoice in the Holy One of Israel.

Getting ahead is something you hear many times during your life, but what exactly does that mean? Pursuing the "almighty" dollar, to the exclusion of all else, is too often what this pursuit entails, However, the Kingdom of Heaven has another meaning for getting ahead and that is what you should pursue.

Others may see you as poor, humble, needy, and weak. Perhaps you have suffered many afflictions that have kept you low. You have busied and occupied yourself with changing that image, and yet you continue to be stooped in depression and are downcast. It seems that your humiliation will never stop. You dwell on your weaknesses and even testify of them.

Instead of rehearsing what you see, you should begin to testify of what God has done and is doing in your life. Then you will begin to see increase, for He will begin to add things to your life again and again. As you exult in Jehovah, the Lord your God, joy and gladness will be yours in abundance. No longer will you appear down and low, but you will show the joy of the Lord to others.

Even though you continue to have wants and needs, as you willingly consent to follow after the Lord, you will rejoice. Then in those times when you seem oppressed and abused, Adonai, the Most High, will send you help and deliver you from trouble.

Therefore, you should determine that you will yield to the Holy One and let your desire be for Him alone. You will no longer tremble in fear, but through Almighty God, and not the "almighty dollar", you will prevail. You will have the power to persevere, as you contend with your enemies. And others will see you as the prince of God, which is your true identity.

12-10-06 Isaiah 25:4

For Thou hast been a strength to the poor, a strength to the needy in his distress, a refuge from the storm, a shadow from the heat, when the blast of the terrible ones is as a storm against the wall.

Have you ever wanted a champion, someone who would take up your cause and stand by you? Did you know that there is already someone who will do just that?

Jesus Christ, Jehovah the Lord, has already taken on that role for you. He has become your place and means of safety. He is your protection, refuge and stronghold. In the harbor of His arms, you become strong and firm. You may have been low, poor, and weak, languishing in distress, but the Lord your God helps you to prevail. He has delivered you from the oppression, abuse, and trouble that used to plague you.

When your enemies and foes besiege and bind you, forcing you into tight and narrow places and thoughts, then you should turn to Adonai, the Most High God, for protection and hope. He becomes a shelter from the storms and floods that try to overwhelm you. The Lord God keeps you from danger and protects you from the lies that they bring against you.

Sometimes you may feel parching heat, dryness, and drought. Perhaps it seems as if a knife or sword is cutting you to pieces. You may see waste, desolation, or ruin all around you. Then Jehovah the Lord becomes a shade and you can find coolness and protection in His shadow.

You may be surrounded with ruthless men, those who are troubled, bitter, and discontented. Perhaps you have become the brunt of their anger, which causes you unending trouble and sorrow. You, however, need not fear them or their rantings. Their storms will not be able to throw you up against a wall, destroying and breaking you. When they send their floods to overthrow you, Almighty God sends a bigger flood of His power to wash them away.
