I have found David My servant; With My holy oil I have anointed him, With whom My hand will be established; My arm also will strengthen him. The enemy will not deceive him, Nor the son of wickedness afflict him. But I shall crush his adversaries before him, And strike those who hate him.

I have found my servant David. I have anointed him with my holy oil. I will steady him, and I will make him strong. His enemies will not get the best of him, nor will the wicked overpower him. I will beat down his adversaries before him and destroy those who hate him.

Adonai the Lord went forth and sought you out, just as He did with King David. When He found you, He brought you out of the darkness that you were accustomed to and He delivered you into His Kingdom of Light. Now you have become His bond-servant, who seeks to do His will in all things. God has anointed you with His most sacred and richest oil; you are consecrated to Him. He has pronounced you clean, pure, and holy.
Jehovah has extended His open hand to you. His power, His means, and His direction are always available to you. From His hand you receive bounty and dominion. He helps you stand erect, giving you sure footing. He has fixed your path and has framed your purpose. He has provided all to make your life perfect and stable. The Lord has stretched forth His arm to strengthen and fortify you. You have courage through the Lord's might and power. He hardens you against the enemy's onslaughts and you speedily prevail over him.

Your enemy, the devil hates you because of your love for God. He sets himself up to oppose you at every turn. He wants to delude you and lead you astray. Through seducement and beguilement, he tries to deceive you. His plan is to make you indebted to him, so that he can charge you interest and enslave you. He even uses wicked, unjust men, who have submitted themselves to him, to abase and depress you. Because he wants you in a weakened state, he afflicts you and tries to bring you low. He desires to set himself as your king and governor; however, you need not fear him, for he is only a vapor.

Almighty God will crush and destroy your opponents. He will beat down the Adversary and break him in pieces. You will see your enemies bruised, smitten, and stricken. They will no longer inflict you with diseases or plagues. The devil will not be able to push you into defeat. You will not stumble; you will not even stub your toe. His hate cannot touch you because you enjoy and live under the favor of God. He shall perish, but you shall endure, for you please God. Adonai esteems and honors you.

For the Lord GOD helps Me, Therefore, I am not disgraced; Therefore, I have set My face like flint, And I know that I shall not be ashamed.

Because the Sovereign LORD helps me, I will not be dismayed. Therefore, I have set my face like a stone, determined to do his will. And I know that I will triumph.

Adonai, the Eternal God, who is Lord over all, surrounds and protects you. Turn to Him when you need help and He will quickly send you His aid. If the enemy comes against you, he will not be able to wound you. When he throws taunts and insults at you, do not let them confound and confuse you. He cannot make you blush in shame or hurt you; for the Lord, your God, has set you above any reproach.

Therefore, you must determine to trust the Lord Jehovah. Continue to lay down your life, committing your plans, wishes, and desires to Him daily. Steadfastly set your face towards God and you will behold His glory. Bind yourself firmly to His purposes, for in that your dreams will be fulfilled. You will also recover all that you have lost. What was lean will become plump.

You have seen and observed how Adonai has helped you in the past. Now when He instructs you, you recognize His dealings; you are assured and certain that it is the Lord speaking to you. You comprehend and understand His ways for you have become intimately acquainted with Him; He has become your familiar friend.

You know that He will not disappoint you. He will not let your face become pale, nor will He let you become dry. When you put your trust in God, you will not be ashamed, or brought into confusion.

3-10-08 Nehemiah 8:10 The Joy of the Lord is Your Strength

Then he said to them, "Go, eat of the fat, drink of the sweet, and send portions to him who has nothing prepared; for this day is holy to our Lord. Do not be grieved, for the joy of the LORD is your strength."

And Nehemiah continued, "Go and celebrate with a feast of choice foods and sweet drinks, and share gifts of food with people who have nothing prepared. This is a sacred day before our Lord. Don’t be dejected and sad, for the joy of the LORD is your strength!"

Life is a daily walk, one in which you bear your daily load. It is as you go forth that the Lord provides the means for you to prosper. In your journey, you exercise your gifts and talents, which causes you and others to grow and to go forward.
It is Adonai's desire for you to have plenty in every area. He wants you to be able to feed richly, so that you remain robust and physically strong. He wants you to be as hardy as an oak tree that He plants in a fertile field. A parched and thirsty land is not what God has in store for you; He desires that you be able to drink as freely as you would at a banquest. And you know that He gives you only the sweetest refreshment and fills you abundantly.

Once you have received abundance, you then have enough to share with others. You can sow portions of what Jehovah has given you into their lives. You then send out parts from your storehouses to bless those in need; for they have not yet come into the prosperity that God has prepared for them. These have not yet learned to stand erect and have not been established and fixed on God's word.

Now every day of your life is sacred and holy. You have been made clean and you are dedicated to Adonai, your Sovereign. He is your Lord and Master and has control over your life. So you need not worry or be angry. You no longer displease the Lord. Therefore, do not have a sorry attitude, but worship the One True God. He gives you His very own joy to replace the pain and grief, that were your constant companions. The joy that Jehovah bestows on you becomes a fortress and a defense for you. It makes you as strong as a rock, hardening you against the onslaughts of the enemy.
