3-8-08 Jeremiah 15:16 God's Words Sustain You.

Jeremiah 15:16 (NAS)
Thy words were found and I ate them, And Thy words became for me a joy and the delight of my heart; For I have been called by Thy name, O LORD God of hosts.

.
Jeremiah 15:16 (NLT)
Your words are what sustain me. They bring me great joy and are my heart’s delight, for I bear your name, O LORD God Almighty.
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
One of the best things, that you have discovered, is the power of God's word. His words help you arrange your life; they give you the advice and answers that you need. When you get a hold on Adonai's word, you receive more than enough; it has everything necessary for your provision. You are wise if you eat and consume God's word. His word will deliver you from unjust circumstances and people.

The promises of the Most High God, which He made to you, can be found in His word. These, when you receive them, make you bright and cheerful. Welcome His words into your heart and mind; then you will have gladness, joy, and rejoicing. They will bring you pleasure and make you merry and full of glee. His word will help you have a kind and gentle attitude. Friendliness and mercy will develop, as you spend time devouring God's word. You will demonstrate a happy frame of mind.

You first heard the word of the Lord when He called you by name, inviting you into His family. He proclaimed and pronounced His promises and commands to you. Now you are known as His child and you carry His name, His fame, and His renown wherever you go. For Jehovah Sabbaoth, the Lord of Hosts, is your God! You have His armies and soldiers at your disposal, because you are called by His name and live according to His word.

3-6-08 Esther 9:22 Your Sorrow Turned into Gladness

Esther 9:22 (NAS)
because on those days the Jews rid themselves of their enemies, and it was a month which was turned for them from sorrow into gladness and from mourning into a holiday; that they should make them days of feasting and rejoicing and sending portions of food to one another and gifts to the poor.

Esther 9:22 (NLT)
He told them to celebrate these days with feasting and gladness and by giving gifts to each other and to the poor. This would commemorate a time when the Jews gained relief from their enemies, when their sorrow was turned into gladness and their mourning into joy.
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
In the time of Queen Esther, a proclamation to destroy all of the Jews had gone throughout the land. On a certain day, they were to be eliminated. The Lord, of course, had other plans. He had already made a way for them to be rescued from their enemies. Their deliverance was already sealed.

You may find yourself in a similar situation, one in which the enemy has planned your destruction. However, do not give in to the fear that would try to take a hold on you. You need to know that the Lord has planned your deliverance, as well.
You can rest and settle down, for Jehovah has given you quiet and repose from you enemies and foes. You can lie down in peace, knowing that the Lord will not abandon you. He has brought a time of renewing and repairing to you. He will change your grief, sorrow, and anguish into joy, mirth, and gladness. Your life will be transformed into a happy and a pleasant one. Your mourning and lamenting will be reversed and you will receive favor. Now your life is excellent, for the Lord your God has added goodness, richness, and value to it.

Instead of famine and despair, you now have days of feasting. The Lord has prepared a banquet for you in the midst of your enemies. In this you rejoice, for you are now able to help others to receive the same deliverance that you have received. You stretch out your hands to them and give them portions from your very own table. God has ordained and appointed you to bestow gifts, offerings, and presents to your friends and companions. You lead other sheep to the pasture where they can graze and feed on God's word. You effectively minister to those who are poor, needy, and in want. Freely you have received and now you freely give.

3-5-08 1 Chronicles 29:17 God Rejoices When He Finds Integrity

1 Chronicles 29:17 (NAS)
Since I know, O my God, that Thou triest the heart and delightest in uprightness, I, in the integrity of my heart, have willingly offered all these things; so now with joy I have seen Thy people, who are present here, make their offerings willingly to Thee.

1 Chronicles 29:17 (NLT)
I know, my God, that you examine our hearts and rejoice when you find integrity there. You know I have done all this with good motives, and I have watched your people offer their gifts willingly and joyously.
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
In your walk with the Lord, you are beginning to learn the ways of the God. You know through your experience that He will test and try the hearts of men. This examination proves to you and to God where your faith really lies. It is important that you understand what is in your heart and mind. You will find out where you need to incline more towards God and His word. It will help you resolve and determine what changes that you need to make.

The Lord God has revealed that He is pleased with uprightness. You know that He looks upon you with favor since you have been made right through the shed blood of Jesus, His Son. Now He approves of and esteems you, for you walk in a straight way. You do what is right which is your due.

Because you have been changed into a righteous person, your heart is willing to do all that the Almighty God requires of you. Your heart impels you to freely bring offerings unto the Lord and you volunteer for the assignments that come before you.
When others see the evenness, stability, and equity of your life, they, too, begin to bring offerings to God. They desire to live on the same level plain as you, for they have observed that your way is more smooth that theirs. This fact-- that your life is a witness of the Lord's goodness and favor--fills you with great joy and gladness

3-4-08 Galatians 4:4, 5 In the Fulness of Time God Sent His Son

Galatians 4: 4, 5 (NAS)
But when the fulness of the time came, God sent forth His Son, born of a woman, born under the Law, in order that He might redeem those who were under the Law, that we might receive the adoption as sons.

Galatians 4: 4, 5 (Philips)
But when the proper time came God sent his own Son, born of a human mother and born under the jurisdiction of the Law, that he might redeem those who were under the authority of the Law: so that we might become sons of God.

Galatians 4: 4, 5 (NLT)
But when the right time came, God sent his Son, born of a woman, subject to the law. God sent him to buy freedom for us who were slaves to the law, so that he could adopt us as his very own children.
++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
Although it seemed that God delayed in fulfilling His promise of the coming Messiah, He waited until every detail had been satisfied. He knew when the time would be right to accomplish what He had decided before the beginning of time. When that season finally came, then God completed His plan of redemption.

Jehovah Elohim, the Almighty and Eternal God, sent His Son Jesus to complete His mission. He had been set apart until God could set Him at liberty to fulfill the new covenant, a covenant that could only be established through His own shed blood.
Therefore, Jesus, like every other man, came into being and was born of a woman. Because of this, He came under the laws of man. He lived and grew under the Law of Moses. He was subject to its regulations and principles like every other man. And in His humanity, He fulfilled every aspect of it. He finished all that was required of Him.
Yeshua was obedient in this, in order that He could ransom, rescue, and redeem you. He went to the public thoroughfare to buy you back from the one who caused you loss. Jesus purchased you with His very own life.

Because He kept and fulfilled every aspect of the Law, Jesus had the legal right to redeem you from the curse of the Law. He lived His life as approved unto God that through His sacrifice, you can also live a life that is approved of God. Yeshua placed you in a position of a child of God. You did not naturally belong to God, but through the only Begotten Son of God, you now supernaturally belong to Him.

Now you must believe in and receive the fact that you are an adopted child of God. Because of this, you can live your life abundantly and free from the power of sin.

3-3-08 Isaiah 1:27 The Repentant Will Be Redeemed.

Isaiah 1:27 (NAS)
Zion will be redeemed with justice, And her repentant ones with righteousness.

Isaiah 1:27 (NLT)
Because the LORD is just and righteous, the repentant people of Jerusalem will be redeemed.
++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
God's chosen people are often referred as Zion, which is a mountain in Israel. As a mountain is easy to be seen, so the Lord has made His people conspicuous. You, as His child, are a sign, a monument, and a guiding pillar; you direct people and nations to God.

Though once you were barren, dry, and solitary, now you are the redeemed and ransomed of the Lord. The Lord your God has rescued and preserved you.
Though you deserved punishment and death, Jehovah has brought you a favorable verdict. The Father God assigned the sentence and penalty of your crimes to His Son. He executed His judgments on Jesus, so that you could be vindicated.

Now you influence others to turn away from their wrong doing. You show them that a way has been made for them to return to God, a way for them to come back home. When they consider your life, and see the deliverance that you have experienced, they are converted, for they cannot deny the Truth.

Like you, they are restored and refreshed. The curse has been reversed in their lives. The Lord God has rescued and rewarded them. Justice has been fulfilled and they have been made righteous. Having been cleansed, their lives have been cleared of all defilement and they now live in prosperity. Virtue is their hallmark.
