6-16-07 Matthew 5:9

Matthew 5:9 (ASV)
Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called sons of God.

Matthew 5:9 (Philips)
Happy are those who make peace, for they will be known as sons of God!

God always wants your highest. When you act as He acts, you are in the place to receive that highest good, which is includes happiness and prosperity.

God is a peacemaker. He has already made peace with mankind through His Son Jesus Christ. Sinful man was at war and separated from God. However, Jesus gave His life to bring men near to God again. Now they, who were once enemies, are able to become God's friends.

You are a peacemaker, helping to end strife and to establish harmony in relationships--those between God and man and those between man and man. You minister His shalom, His peace, to others, bringing wholeness into their lives and helping them to be made perfect. You have a spirit of reconciliation. You are a man of peace and you walk in peace!

Because you display God's peace-keeping nature to others, God calls you by His name and makes you His son. He loves you, protects you, and bestows benefits on you. You are His descendant, a part of His blood line, and His heir.

Therefore, continue to keep the peace and you will see God's best in your life!

6-15-07 Psalms 18:18, 19

Psalms 18:18, 19 (NIVUS)
They confronted me in the day of my disaster, but the LORD was my support. He brought me out into a spacious place; he rescued me because he delighted in me.

Psalms 18:18, 19 (NLT)
They attacked me at a moment when I was weakest, but the LORD upheld me. He led me to a place of safety; he rescued me because he delights in me.

Psalms 18:18, 19 (NRSV)
They confronted me in the day of my calamity; but the LORD was my support. He brought me out into a broad place; he delivered me, because he delighted in me.

Psalms 18:18, 19 (NAS)
They confronted me in the day of my calamity, But the LORD was my stay. He brought me forth also into a broad place; He rescued me, because He delighted in me.

Do you ever think that Satan anticipates your every move and tries to thwart you before you take a step? You are not alone in this. Israel's King David many times felt that his enemies hastened to disappoint him and to prevent him from reaching his goals. Oppression, misfortune, and ruin dogged his steps. He was continually feeling the heat of calamity and destruction hot on his heels. At these times, he turned to Jehovah the Lord for help.

Like David, you should look to the Lord your God when your enemies are multiplied against you. He is your support and protection. He will sustain you in and through anything, as you lean on and rest in Him.

Jesus the Lord does not want to leave you where you are. He desires to deliver you from condemnation and failure. He wants to see you shoot forth and grow. He, therefore, sends His commandments to bring you into a broad and open space, where you will always have liberty. You will have as much room as you will ever need.

The Lord your God is well pleased with you. He takes great delight in you. He desires to favor you. When you are facing trouble, He wants to deliver you. Often, at these times, the Almighty will strengthen and equip you to fight. He arms you with His Word and His Holy Spirit, so that you are always prepared.

6-14-07 2 Timothy 1:9

2 Timothy 1:9 (NAS)
Who has saved us, and called us with a holy calling, not according to our works, but according to His own purpose and grace which was granted us in Christ Jesus from all eternity,

Even before you were born, God had a plan and purpose for your life. He wrote of you in His book before your substance was formed and He planned for your rescue and salvation before the foundation of the earth.

Through His Son Jesus Christ, He rescued you from danger and destruction to keep you safe and sound forever in His Kingdom. He provided for your healing and health, so that you would not have to suffer and so that you would not perish. He made you whole and complete!

Then He called out your name and invited you to become His son, through the blood of His Only Begotten Son! When you responded, He gave you His name, adopting you into His family. He gave you the authority of His name and you received a royal title!

He has cherished and fostered you with tender care. He has made you holy, setting you apart for Himself. He has made you pure, cleansing you of every fault. He has separated you from every evil and defilement.

He did not do this because of what you have done. None of your works or endeavors could bring you to a place of salvation. But for His own purpose and design, He saved you and called you. He has determined to expose you to public view, so that those who look upon you will see His grace manifested. He has shown you good will, loving kindness mercy and favor. He has filled your life with joy and made you His pleasure and His delight! Under His hand you have thrived.

All of this was His gift to you, which He bestowed upon you freely. Through Jesus Christ, your Messiah, you have become a citizen of the Kingdom of God. And all of this was established from eternity!
Your future is secure in Him!

6-13-07 Philippians 3: 8

Philippians 3: 8 (NAS)
More than that, I count all things to be loss in view of the surpassing value of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord, for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and count them but rubbish in order that I may gain Christ,

Philippians 3:8 (Philips)
Yes, and I look upon everything as loss compared with the overwhelming gain of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord. For his sake I did in fact suffer the loss of everything, but I considered it mere garbage compared with being able to win Christ.

After careful consideration and deliberate judgment, you have decided to live your life for the Lord Jesus Christ, yielding to Him in all things. Everything else, in comparison to Him, is of no value. If you lost it all, but still had Jesus Christ, then you would have all that you would ever need.

He is above all, superior in rank, authority and power. You have seen His excellence and have been joined to Him. You cling to and adhere to Him. You need Him; He is necessary for you to live. He is your salvation.

Daily you grow in your knowledge of Jesus Christ, the anointed One. Through your personal experience, you understand Him more and more. Your increased insight into His word causes you to have a close intimate relationship with Yeshua. You belong to Him. He is your Master and Lord. He decides what is best for you.

You may have suffered injury or damage, but this is as nothing. It is refuse, rubbish, worthless, and detestable, for you have gained Christ. You have received His favor and His fellowship. You have escaped evil and have obtained faith. He has won you over to His Kingdom for ever!

6-12-07 John 14:6, John 8:32,36

John 14:6 (NAS)
Jesus *said to him, "I am the way, and the truth, and the life..."
John 8:32 (NAS)
“and you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.
John 8:36 (NAS)
"If therefore the Son shall make you free, you shall be free indeed."

Jesus, your Savior, has existed for all of eternity. He calls Himself "I Am". He always exists in the present; He is your Savior today! As you walk on your daily journey, He not only guides your steps, but He is your way. He shows you how to think, feel, and decide.

Yeshua, your Messiah, is the Truth. In Him there is no lie, falsehood, or deceit. The words that He has spoken to you are faithful; you can be confident in them. They will come to pass, if you believe them.

Jesus, the Christ, is the Life. He is the Word made flesh. His words are filled with the life of God. His words are true and they stand forever!

Jesus, who is your life, makes Himself known to you through His Holy Spirit. You have a close, personal, face to face relationship with Him. As you spend more and more time with Him, you discover that who He is and what He says are totally and completely trustworthy. He is truth and never lies to you. You believe His word!

Because you believe Him, you have been delivered from all the lies that the enemy has spoken against you. You are no longer imprisoned or enslaved by them. Yeshua, the Truth, has broken the power of the Lie over you. You are free!

Yes, the Son has made you free! You are and will continue to live in total freedom and liberty! You are as free as any man can be!!
You are free indeed!!!

6-11-07 Jeremiah 31:14

Jeremiah 31:14 (JPS)
And I will satiate the soul of the priests with fatness, and My people shall be satisfied with My goodness, saith the LORD.

Jeremiah 31:14 (NAS)
And I will fill the soul of the priests with abundance, And My people shall be satisfied with My goodness, declares the LORD.

Jeremiah 31:14 (NIVUS)
“I will satisfy the priests with abundance, and my people will be filled with my bounty," declares the LORD.

You have been made a king and a priest through Jesus Christ the Lord. You serve the Most High, worshipping before His throne. Your worship coming before Him is a sweet smelling aroma. He is satisfied and well pleased.

Because your offering is acceptable, God pours out abundant anointing and blessings upon you. You are saturated and satiated with the Living Water. Your soul--your mind, your will, and your emotions--are so full that many think you are intoxicated, but you are completely filled up with the prosperity of the Lord.

You are a citizen of the kingdom of God and receive all of the benefits of His realm. You continuously see your desires fulfilled to the excess, for the Lord satisfies you with everything that is good, pleasant, and delightful. You always behold His beauty and are filled with joy. He gives you discernment and favor.

What Jehovah has spoken over you is true. What He has declared and prophesied about you shall come to pass! His words to you are only good and bring you great bounty!

6-10-07James 1:17, 18

James 1:17, 18 (NIVUS)
Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows. He chose to give us birth through the word of truth, that we might be a kind of first fruits of all he created.

James 1:17, 18 (NRSV)
Every generous act of giving, with every perfect gift, is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow due to change. In fulfillment of his own purpose he gave us birth by the word of truth, so that we would become a kind of first fruits of his creatures.

James 1:17, 18 (Philips)
But every good endowment and every complete gift must come from above, from the Father of all lights, with whom there is never the slightest variation or shadow of inconsistency. By his own wish he made us his own sons through the Word of truth, that we might be, so to speak, the first specimens of his new creation.

God, who is the Creator of all things, is the Father of all who have put their faith and trust in His Son Jesus Christ. He is your preserver, guardian, and protector. He has brought you into an intimate relationship with Himself and you have no need to dread Him or to be afraid to stand in His presence. He has reconciled you to Himself.

He is Light and in Him there is no darkness at all. He is pure and holy and holds all truth and knowledge. He has never and will never change. His character and nature never varies. He does not become different than He always is. He does not transform Himself into something unknown. If He should turn around, He would cast no shadow; He is total and complete Light. He is whole, with no separation at all.

You know that you can trust Adonai, for His is a giving God. His very nature causes Him to seek your best and good. He bestows on you only good and excellent things. You only receive benefit and advantages from the Almighty's hand. He furnishes everything necessary for your welfare. He commits and entrusts you with His very own Spirit. He pours out of His own nature to empower and strengthen you, so that you can take care of His interests.

Almighty God, by His own will, purpose and determination, brought you forth to satisfy His own desires. He destroyed the union and fellowship that you had with sin. He then re-established you in union and fellowship with Himself, through the blood of His very own Son Jesus Christ. As He spoke the universe into existence, so too, through His word, He brought you to rebirth from death. His command revealed His truth to you, allowing you to forsake the lies of the enemy. You now exist as the first fruits of His harvest. You have been consecrated to God for all time.
