2-11-06 Leviticus 22:29

Leviticus 22:29 (KJ21)
And when ye will offer a sacrifice of thanksgiving unto the LORD, offer it at your own will.

Leviticus 22:29 (NAS)
And when you sacrifice a sacrifice of thanksgiving to the LORD, you shall sacrifice it so that you may be accepted.

Leviticus 22:29 (NIVUS)
When you sacrifice a thank offering to the LORD, sacrifice it in such a way that it will be accepted on your behalf.

Leviticus 22:29 (NLT)

When you bring a thanksgiving offering to the LORD, it must be sacrificed properly so it will be accepted on your behalf.

You have had times when circumstances were just not going your way. In this you are not alone; everyone faces discouraging or bad times. What you choose to do during these times is very important to how you get through them.

You must realize that you are not alone. Jehovah the Lord God has promised to never leave you nor forsake you. Knowing this will help you maintain a thankful attitude. This may be a sacrifice for you, but it is essential to your well being.

During these times, you should also let your words line up with God's word. Confessing what God has told you in His word, the Bible, will help to keep your faith strong. Faith is the most powerful weapon that you have in overcoming discouragement.

It is always appropriate to offer praise and thanksgiving to Adonai, your Creator and your Lord. As the most powerful and Almighty being, He is worthy of your praises. When you desire to praise and thank God, you will find His favor, acceptance, and good will. When you do this, it will be easier for you to get through the hard times. And when you think about it, the Lord is the only One with the means to change things for you.

Therefore, decide today to always have a thankful heart. Your life will be enriched if you do.

2-10-06 Zechariah 10:8

Zechariah 10:8 (KJ21)
I will whistle for them and gather them, for I have redeemed them; and they shall increase as they have increased.

Zechariah 10:8 (NAS)
I will whistle for them to gather them together, For I have redeemed them; And they will be as numerous as they were before.

Zechariah 10:8 (NIVUS)
I will signal for them and gather them in. Surely I will redeem them; they will be as numerous as before.

Zechariah 10:8 (NLT)
When I whistle to them, they will come running, for I have redeemed them. From the few that are left, their population will grow again to its former size.

Throughout the animal kingdom, the young ones always recognize the sounds that their parents make. When their mothers call them, they come running, for they know if they obey, they will be safe.
As the child of the King, you should always be listening for His voice and signal. He may whistle, hiss, or blow a trumpet. However He calls, you should respond quickly.

When the Lord whistles, He wants to gather you to Himself. He desires your presence and longs to spend time with you. Because He has ransomed and rescued you, you are free to come before Him, for sin no longer has a hold on you. You are delivered and redeemed forever.

Now you see increase continually. You have become great and Adonai, your God, has enlarged your borders. Therefore, do not think merely in simple addition terms, for God speaks multiplication to you in all things.

2-9-06 Zechariah 8:13

Zechariah 8:13 (KJ21)
And it shall come to pass that as ye were a curse among the heathen, O house of Judah and house of Israel, so will I save you, and ye shall be a blessing. Fear not, but let your hands be strong.’

Zechariah 8:13 (NAS)
And it will come about that just as you were a curse among the nations, O house of Judah and house of Israel, so I will save you that you may become a blessing. Do not fear; let your hands be strong.

Zechariah 8:13 (NIVUS)
As you have been an object of cursing among the nations, O Judah and Israel, so will I save you, and you will be a blessing. Do not be afraid, but let your hands be strong.

Zechariah 8:13 (NLT)
Among the nations, Judah and Israel had become symbols of what it means to be cursed. But no longer! Now I will rescue you and make you both a symbol and a source of blessing! So don’t be afraid or discouraged, but instead get on with rebuilding the Temple!

Did you grow up believing that your life was slight and trifling? You may have thought that you were of little account and insignificant. You may have felt despicable and cursed. You knew you had little esteem: you were treated with contempt and dishonor. You believed that the hostility and hatred of all the nations was directed at you alone, for you thought you came from a family and house that was cast down and cast off by the rest of society.

However, the Lord your God had actually designed you to praise Him. In His original purpose, you were to be established in a home and family that confessed and lauded His name. Instead of being cursed and defeated, you were created to prevail over your enemies.

Therefore, Adonai saved and delivered you from your past. He turned the curse into blessing and the defeat into victory. He has given you prosperity and peace. He has blessed you in order to make you a source of blessing for others.

So do not fear nor dread. Jehovah, the Lord your God, has strengthened your hands. You are now firm and secure. Take courage and be bold, for the Almighty God will always sustain you. He has repaired your life and you are able to withstand any threat.

Now you are honored and held in high esteem.

2-8-06 Deuteronomy 28:37

Deuteronomy 28:37 (KJ21)
And thou shalt become an astonishment, a proverb, and a byword among all nations whither the LORD shall lead thee.

Deuteronomy 28:37 (NAS)
And you shall become a horror, a proverb, and a taunt among all the people where the LORD will drive you.

Deuteronomy 28:37 (NIVUS)
You will become a thing of horror and an object of scorn and ridicule to all the nations where the LORD will drive you.

Deuteronomy 28:37 (NLT)
You will become an object of horror, a proverb and a mockery among all the nations to which the LORD sends you.

Do you want to make a mark in the world? Do you want others to take notice of you? One sure way to do that is to commit your life to El Shaddai, the almighty and powerful God.

When you become a servant of the Living God and strive always to do as He wishes, your life will astonish those around you. They will be amazed at the goodness of the Lord that you experience. You have a wonderful life, but their lives are desolate and full of waste. They are ruined and destitute.

You, however, are a ruler. You have been given the power and dominion to reign. In every way, your life is superior. You are a poem and a proverb and not a cheap paperback novel.

The Lord uses your life to prick the consciences of those you meet. Through you, He is making a point. He hopes to whet their appetites, so that they will come to Him for help.

The Lord God may lead you to various tribes, peoples, and nations. Wherever He sends you, you should stand out from the crowd. You should be a by-word, a name that is on the lips of many. And you should diligently teach them the ways of God.

2-7-06 Job 22:25

Job 22:25 (KJ21)
Yea, the Almighty shall be thy gold, and thou shalt have plenty of silver.

Job 22:25 (NAS)
Then the Almighty will be your gold And choice silver to you.

Job 22:25 (NIVUS)
then the Almighty will be your gold, the choicest silver for you.

Job 22:25 (NLT)
Then the Almighty himself will be your treasure. He will be your precious silver!

Trying to get ahead motivates many people; so they work hours and hours, forfeiting time with family and friends. Although toiling so furiously to gain more wealth may eventually bring a sense of security, this kind of constant labor takes a toll on your health and your family relationships. There is a better way to prosper!

El Shaddai, the Almighty God, is the most powerful, Who deals violently with your enemies. He is the One who brings devastation and ruin to the lack in your life. As He cuts off those who assault you, He also gathers you to Himself. He encloses you and you are inaccessible to the onslaughts of your foes. Not only is the Lord your fortification, but He is also as precious gold to you.

Adonai lifts you up to lofty summits, where you find silver. All that you yearn and long for is in the Lord. He makes you eminent and people are astonished when they observe the blessing of God in your life.

2-6-06 Ecclesiastes 7:12

Ecclesiastes 7:12 (KJ21)
For wisdom is a safeguard, as money is a safeguard, but the excellency of knowledge is that wisdom giveth life to them that have it.

Ecclesiastes 7:12 (NAS)
For wisdom is protection just as money is protection. But the advantage of knowledge is that wisdom preserves the lives of its possessors.

Ecclesiastes 7:12 (NIVUS)
Wisdom is a shelter as money is a shelter, but the advantage of knowledge is this: that wisdom preserves the life of its possessor.

Ecclesiastes 7:12 (NLT)
Wisdom or money can get you almost anything, but it’s important to know that only wisdom can save your life.

Trying to be safe and secure in today's world can be a major concern. Even with the most sophisticated security systems, some people still live in fear and terror. However, you do not need to live in terror.

Many seek wisdom and are greedy after silver. They hope that in this they will find protection and safety. These will provide shade from the scorching heat of lack, but they do not bring everlasting salvation They are mere empty images that resemble the Truth, but are not the Truth. That is found in only One Person, the Lord God Almighty.

Living in the fear of the Lord and not in the fear of man is true wisdom. You have discovered this avenue to success. The excellence, advantage, and profit that you seek are in knowledge, understanding, perception, and discernment. That is where there is life, protection, and safety. And this is the life that you possess

02-05-06 Job 2: 20, 21

Job 29: 20, 21 (KJ21)
My glory was fresh in me, and my bow was renewed in my hand. Unto me men gave ear and waited, and kept silence at my counsel.

Job 29: 20, 21 (NAS)
My glory is ever new with me, And my bow is renewed in my hand. To me they listened and waited, And kept silent for my counsel.

Job 29: 20, 21 (NIVUS)
My glory will remain fresh in me, the bow ever new in my hand. Men listened to me expectantly, waiting in silence for my counsel.

Job 29: 20, 21 (NLT)
New honors are constantly bestowed on me, and my strength is continually renewed. Everyone listened to me and valued my advice. They were silent as they waited for me to speak.

Are you looking for the fountain of youth? Do you think you will find it in lotions and potions? Perhaps through some natural means you will be able to stave off old age for a few more years. However, what if you knew there was a better way to remain strong, happy, and healthy?

Through faith in Adonai, the Almighty God, you are in a place to be constantly renewed and refreshed. He will repair everything that is broken in your life. You will also see more honor, glory, and abundance, for the Lord has restored your dignity and reputation. You are no longer a light weight, but a heavy contender. When you come up against your enemies, you will see your bow change in your hand; immediately you will gain new strength, a change for the better.

You will find that others will begin to listen to and hear what you say. When you make proclamations, they will give heed and pay attention to what you say, for they are interested in understanding. Instead of arguments, they will wait in silence to hear you. They will be astonished and astounded; for they know your words are cleansing and purging words. They accept your counsel and purpose; they know that you are not speaking destruction, but are bringing them life and peace. All of this happens because the Lord your God has strengthened and renewed you.
