4-5-08 Isaiah 11:9 There Is No Hurt or Destruction In God's Holy Mountain‏

Isaiah 11:9 (NAS)
They will not hurt or destroy in all My holy mountain, For the earth will be full of the knowledge of the LORD As the waters cover the sea.

Isaiah 11:9 (NLT)
Nothing will hurt or destroy in all my holy mountain. And as the waters fill the sea, so the earth will be filled with people who know the LORD.

You have been in many places and have gone through many situations in which you have been hurt to the point that you felt you were breaking in pieces. Others may have thought you were a mistake or even good for nothing.

However, Adonai the Lord your God wants you to know that He will never cause you harm or hurt. He will not deal ill with you. Affliction and vexation do not come from his throne. Those only come from the wicked and evil ones. Destruction, ruin, and decay are not normal aspects of your life. Nothing in God's Kingdom can mar you. You will not perish and your life is not a waste.

All that is in the Lord's mountain is holy, clean, and pure. It is a sanctuary for those who seek the Lord. As His saint,one who is also holy, you can feel safe, secure, and at home here. From the mountain of the Lord comes your promotion.

Your body is made of the dust of the earth, which at first may not seem good. However, the word of God says that the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the Lord. Because you believe in and trust the Lord God, His knowledge has become vastly available to you. Adonai will help you fully comprehend who He is and what He desires. As you are diligent to seek first the Kingdom of God, He will continually replenish and satisfy you. As you regard Him with respect, your understanding and skill in His word will increase. You will come into a wholeness in your spirit, soul, and body. Every empty and hollow place within you shall be filled up with His knowledge. The Lord God will cover and clothe you with His righteousness, as the water covers the sea bed. You will be completely hidden and concealed within Him

4-4-08 Psalm 81:13-16 God Will Quickly Subdue Your Enemies!

Psalms 81:13-16 (NAS)
Oh that My people would listen to Me, That Israel would walk in My ways! I would quickly subdue their enemies, And turn My hand against their adversaries. Those who hate the LORD would pretend obedience to Him; And their time of punishment would be forever.But I would feed you with the finest of the wheat; And with honey from the rock I would satisfy you.
Psalms 81:13-16 (NLT)
But oh, that my people would listen to me! Oh, that Israel would follow me, walking in my paths! How quickly I would then subdue their enemies! How soon my hands would be upon their foes! Those who hate the LORD would cringe before him; their desolation would last forever. But I would feed you with the best of foods. I would satisfy you with wild honey from the rock.
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
Adonai, the Lord God, created a nation and people for Himself, those who would build and establish His Kingdom on the earth. You are one of His people and He has made you His child. Now He asks that you listen and obey His voice. He wants you to be completely attentive to Him, so that you can understand all that He is saying unto you. When you consent and yield to His will, you will find that you are walking with Him, as a friend with a friend.

In your journey, you will see that God will defend you against your enemies. Because these are of little worth in His eyes, He will make short work of them. Although your foes may have seemed great and overwhelming to you, in the eyes of the Almighty, they are small and diminished. He easily humbles and subdues them. When the Lord turns His hand and His strength towards them, He soon brings them down until they are lower and less than anything else.

Those who hate Jehovah, the Lord God, are deceived. Though they prosper for awhile, they soon will fail; for the Lord has found them to be liars who deal falsely. They will be disappointed and grow lean, even if they feign obedience. Yet Adonai desires them to repent and turn to Him; He, therefore, is long-suffering toward them, giving them time to truly turn back to Him. The Lord God wants every man to experience His everlasting life, but He leaves the choice to each individual.

Because you have chosen to follow the Lord, He now allows you to eat from the choicest and the best portions. He gives you abundance from all the produce of the land; you are greatly blessed with wheat. Even if you are up against a rocky wall or stranded on a cliff, God causes honey to flow to you. No matter what circumstance you are in, Adonai will fill and satisfy you. You will always be enriched and have excess.

4-3-08 John 6:45 All Shall Be Taught of God

John 6:45 (NAS)
It is written in the prophets, ‘AND THEY SHALL ALL BE TAUGHT OF GOD.’ Everyone who has heard and learned from the Father, comes to Me.
John 6:45 (Philips)
In the Prophets it is written—’And they shall all be taught of God,’ and this means that everybody who has heard the Father’s voice and learned from him will come to me.
John 6:45 (NLT)
As it is written in the Scriptures, ‘They will all be taught by God.’ Everyone who hears and learns from the Father comes to me.
++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
When God authors something, it is engraved in stone, so to speak. What He writes down remains and brings profit to those who read and hear His words. He, therefore, had His prophets, who were inspired by His Holy Spirit, to inscribe what He wanted His people to know. Many of their descriptions and poetry told of events prior to them taking place; they often wrote of the future. They had the privilege to make God's thoughts known to mankind. The Almighty made Himself manifest through their written words and He gave you illumination into His character and nature.

As a father teaches his children, so your Heavenly Father teaches you. He longs to communicate with you and to make His instructions clear. He knew that once you heard and understood His words, that you would never hesitate to come to Him. As you learned and understood, you began to grow.
Therefore, take every opportunity to enter into the Lord's presence. Draw close to the Lord's side, for there you will find all that you will ever need.

4-1-08 God's Love and Faithfulness Lead You--Psalm 25:8-10

Psalms 25:8-10 (NAS)
Good and upright is the LORD; Therefore He instructs sinners in the way.He leads the humble in justice, And He teaches the humble His way. All the paths of the LORD are lovingkindness and truth To those who keep His covenant and His testimonies.

Psalms 25:8-10 (NLT)
The LORD is good and does what is right; he shows the proper path to those who go astray. He leads the humble in what is right, teaching them his way. The LORD leads with unfailing love and faithfulness all those who keep his covenant and obey his decrees.
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
The Lord Jehovah is good and He makes things well. In Him you find the best and the most beautiful things. In His presence you have cheer and ease. He is gracious, joyful, kind, and pleasant. You find favor, wealth, and pleasure through your knowledge of Him. He bestows His bounty on you because you are precious to Him. He rules with equity. He is just, straight, and upright in His dealings with you.

When you were a sinner condemned and going astray, Adonai sent His Son to teach you how to return to Him. He guided you, pointing with His very own finger to the steps you were to take. He caused His word to flow to you and it bent you in the right direction. You repented of your offenses and the Lord purged and purified you. He reconciled you to Himself and pronounced you not guilty.
You are now gentle and humble, realizing that you need the Lord on a daily basis. You, therefore, submit to Him in your weakness. You pay attention and give heed to all that He speaks to you. Under His leading and guidance, you bear witness to Him. You respond by singing, shouting, testifying, and announcing all that He has said and done. Now you know that His verdict against you is favorable, for your penalty has been remitted.

Adonai continues to goad you along the way, so that you become accustomed to His teaching and instruction. He wants you to be diligent in developing a skillful and expert mind in the things of God. He wants the course of your life to always be in line with Him.

You should frequently find yourself on the path to Adonai's throne; it should be a well trodden road. You know that you will find goodness, kindness, and mercy at the end. You will stand in awe of the beauty of God and He will show you favor. The Lord God is trustworthy and faithful. His word is true and He is true to His word. You can rely on both.

You have learned to observe and preserve the covenant of the Lord. You made a compact with God and are now in league with Him. Therefore, guard and maintain your relationship and continue to select and choose His ways, obeying Him in all things. Let your testimony and witness always be of the Lord God Almighty. Reiterate what He has said to you and it will continually restore your vision and your call. When you keep God's covenant and abide by His testimonies, you will always stand upright, for you are a prince in Adonai's kingdom.

3-30-08 2 Samuel 23: 3,4 A Ruler Must Rule Righteously

2 Samuel 23:3,:4 (NAS)
The God of Israel said, The Rock of Israel spoke to me, ‘He who rules over men righteously, Who rules in the fear of God, Is as the light of the morning when the sun rises, A morning without clouds, When the tender grass springs out of the earth, Through sunshine after rain.’

2 Samuel 23:3, 4 (NLT)
The God of Israel spoke. The Rock of Israel said to me: ‘The person who rules righteously, who rules in the fear of God, he is like the light of the morning, like the sunrise bursting forth in a cloudless sky, like the refreshing rains that bring tender grass from the earth.’
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
Adonai, the One True God, has told you what characteristics a leader and ruler must have. Jehovah, your Rock and security, declares that if you would have rule and dominion, then you must do so with justice and in righteousness. It is important that you remain in right standing with God; it is only then that your decisions and judgments will be right. You must maintain a reverent and respectful attitude towards the Lord God. You must continually be in awe of Him and give Him the honor that is due Him. As you do this, your rule and dominion will be great.

Then you will shine with light, like the morning at the breaking of the day. You will reflect the light of the One who gives you light. He illuminates your spirit and your mind, allowing you to make correct judgments. Unlike other men who walk in darkness, you are like the sun that rises every morning. When you minister you bring joy to those who have experienced a dark night of distress. What you say will never becloud the issue, but it will bring clarity and brightness to those who hear.

Then they will see their situation with new eyes. Instead of brown and dried up, they will see it as new green grass. Instead of death and no hope, they will see brightness and growth. Your words will rain on them, watering their roots and strengthening them throughout their beings. Through your righteous words and judgments, these dear ones will receive new life.
