12-11-05 Psalms 41:2

Psalms 41:2 (KJ21)
The LORD will preserve him and keep him alive, and he shall be blessed upon the earth; and Thou wilt not deliver him unto the will of his enemies.

When Adonai, your Lord, created man, He breathed His life into the man's lifeless body. When you decided to put your trust in God, He breathed His life into your dead spirit. The Lord declared you to be alive and you lived. He quickened you with vitality and revived you from sickness, discouragement, faintness, and death. Now you live prosperously and continuously grow.

You need not fear for your life; for the One who gave you life is also the One who guards and keeps your life. He shows what you need to do and He interprets those things that you do not understand. He watches over you constantly and celebrates and treasures you. He sets His boundaries around you to protect and save you.

He leads and guides you in the straight way. With His help, you progress and advance; for you have been made right. You know yourself to be happy and blessed in the land that your God has given you. You can be assured that your enemies will have no power over you. Though they dedicate and consecrate themselves to your destruction, the Lord will not let them have their way. He has appointed you to refreshing and blessing and refreshing and blessing is what you will have.

You were originally made in the image of Jehovah, the Lord God. You were made to live with and for Him, but sin entered into the world and into your life. It separated you from Adonai, God Almighty; for sin cannot remain in His presence. You could not bridge the gap that sin had opened; therefore, God in His love and mercy did what He could to fill in that awful, yawning chasm.

Adonai sent His Son, who took on the form of sinful flesh and yet did not sin. He lived a spotless, pure life, so that He could be the Lamb of God, without spot or blemish, the perfect sacrifice who took away the sin of the world.

Now like the Lord Yeshua, your soul and your spirit can be made alive again; you can be born anew. As God brings your soul up and out of the world of the dead, Hell and the grave can no longer hold you. Jesus Christ, the Word of God made flesh, has satisfied the demands of the pit. What was originally laid to your charge has been paid by the Son of God and you have received refreshing and vitality that comes from the Spirit of God.

The Lord has revived you and He now keeps you alive; He nourishes and preserves you. He recovers what was lost and repairs that which was broken. He makes you whole.

Your trust is in the Lord your God; therefore, you will not descend again into that prison and dungeon that Satan dug for you. You will not fall into that hole; for God has saved you. He has lifted you out of the cistern and placed your feet on the Rock, your sure foundation.

You have probably heard many times that the end of the world is coming and that is true. In His scriptures, Almighty God gives you many warnings concerning that time. He especially wants His chosen people to be ready, so He continually asks His ministers to proclaim His will. He instructs them to blow a trumpet, clang an instrument, and to sound an alarm.

However, for you, since you belong to Adonai, this should not be distressing, but joyful news. He has promoted you and lifted you up to His holy mountain. You dwell in His sanctuary, where you are safe and protected; for He has pronounced you clean and holy, as well.

Those who have not yet bowed their knee to El-Shaddai, the One True God, should tremble with fear; for the Lord sits in judgment over them. They may think that they will continue to live and dwell at ease, marrying and settling in homes, but a day is coming that will cause them to be afraid. It is the day of the Lord God and it will certainly come. Then the inhabitants of the land, those who do not belong to God, will see trouble and the wrath of God poured out on sinful flesh.

As the day of the Lord draws ever nearer, keep yourself in the love of God and maintain your faith in Him. Unlike your self-absorbed neighbors, you will have nothing to fear on that day.

12-08-05 2 Chronicles 13:12

And behold, God Himself is with us for our captain, and His priests with sounding trumpets to cry alarm against you. O children of Israel, fight ye not against the LORD God of your fathers, for ye shall not prosper.

Adonai is the captain and chief over His people. He is your beginning and He is your end. He rules over all the universe and with the mere shake of His head, kingdoms rise and kingdoms fall. He sets men as priests to rule as princes and officers over His nation and His church; these mediate and minister in His behalf. They have the responsibility and authority to help guide you in the right direction.

However if you, even though you are God's child, try to fight and do battle against the Most High, the Lord's ministers will raise an alarm against you. They will shout so loud that the noise could split your ears. You will hear God's battle cry and His trumpets will blow. You cannot prevail over the God of your fathers and you yourself shall be overcome. You will not prosper when you fight against the One who gives you breath and life. In fact, Adonai's power and might will be used against you.

Therefore, be quick to change your attitude and to repent. Listen to the ministers of the Lord and do what they say. When you do this, you will find that the Lord your God will be good to you. He will make the work of your hands profitable and your will prosper. He will push you forward and you will be breaking out at the seams with all of the abundance that He gives you.

12-07-05 Numbers 10:9

And if ye go to war in your land against the enemy who oppresseth you, then ye shall blow an alarm with the trumpets; and ye shall be remembered before the LORD your God, and ye shall be saved from your enemies.

When you go into battle in your own land against an enemy who is oppressing you, sound a blast on the trumpets. Then you will be remembered by the LORD your God and rescued from your enemies.

When you arrive in your own land and go to war against your enemies, you must sound the alarm with these trumpets so the LORD your God will remember you and rescue you from your enemies.

The Lord your God has given you your very own land to tend. You have the responsibility to care for and cultivate it. Adonai requires that you make the best of what He has given you.

Sometimes maintaining the best for your property is to defend it against your enemies. You, however, should not just assume a defensive position, but you should also go on the offensive. You should not cower in fear, waiting for your foes to come against you. Instead you should choose the time and the place to wage war; for the best generals are those who choose the site of the battle.

Do not continue to allow yourself to be squeezed into a tight and narrow place. Instead press hard against your adversaries; trouble and vex them for a change. Besiege and oppress those who have besieged and oppressed you for so long.

If you need help, do not hesitate to sound an alarm. Shout and make a joyful noise unto the Lord your God. Blow a trumpet; when God hears, He will remember you. When you beseech Adonai to come, He will come quickly to your aid. He will surround you with His favor; He will save and defend you. What used to be cramped and narrow will become open and wide. No longer will you be bound and shut away, but you will be free and victorious; for Jehovah your Lord has rescued you and brought you to safety.

As a belt helps to hold your trousers in place, Adonai's strength girds you up. He keeps you from appearing naked; for He clothes you with His righteousness and glory. The Lord binds you to Himself with His strong power and force.

When you engage in battle, the Lord gives you the means and resources that you need to wage effective warfare. He backs you with His army and wealth. As you draw upon His strength, you are refreshed. He trains you for battle and puts His goods, riches, and substance at your disposal. You fight valiantly and with valor as you follow God's orders.

Even though your enemies rise up against you, they will not succeed in their attacks. You will stand and endure against them. Soon they will bend their knees in submission. As you continue to be strengthened by the Lord God, your enemies will grow feeble and weak. They will begin to sink and soon lay prostrate before you; for you will smite them down and subdue them.

Ambassadors from foreign companies have many privileges because of their standing and rank. One of these is diplomatic immunity, which keeps them safe and secure while they are living away from their homelands.

You are an ambassador of the Kingdom of Heaven and the Lord God has given you many privileges and benefits as you dwell on the earth. He shields and defends you with His salvation. He has devoted Himself to always see that you are safe, well, prosperous, and victorious. He covers and surrounds you with His presence and He gathers you close to Himself.

The right hand of Adonai, Almighty God, supports and sustains you; He comforts and strengthens you. He stoops down to you to help you; He humbled Himself so that you could be exalted. He made Himself weak so that you could become great. It is His desire to increase you and to enlarge your borders and influence. The Lord wants others to see how well He takes care of those who are His.
