9-13-07John 15:5

John 15:5 (NAS)
I am the vine, you are the branches; he who abides in Me, and I in him, he bears much fruit; for apart from Me you can do nothing.
John 15:5 (Philips)
I am the vine itself, you are the branches. It is the man who shares my life and whose life I share who proves fruitful. For apart from me you can do nothing at all.
John 15:5 (NLT)
Yes, I am the vine; you are the branches. Those who remain in me, and I in them, will produce much fruit. For apart from me you can do nothing.

As a son of God, you have a close relationship and share communion with Jesus. He has declared Himself to be the Vine and you sprout from Him. You are a tender, flexible branch, that draws its nourishment from the Vine.

Now you should remain and abide in Him. As you do, He will hold and keep you continually. Then you will not perish, but live and endure. As you abide in Him, He will likewise abide in you.
When you receive sustenance from Yeshua, you will bear, bring forth, and produce much fruit, which results in advantage and profit. Through your labors, you snatch others from the hands of the enemy and they will obtain eternal salvation.
However, it is only through abiding in the Vine that you will reap such a wonderful harvest. If you are separated and abiding apart from Him, that will not be possible. Your own power, ability, and resources can never achieve God's eternal purposes. You will be able to do nothing.
Therefore, continue to stay close to Jesus and He will make you capable, strong, and powerful.

9-12-07 Ephesians 2:7

Ephesians 2:7 (NAS)
in order that in the ages to come He might show the surpassing riches of His grace in kindness toward us in Christ Jesus.

Ephesians 2:7 (Philips)
Thus he shows for all the ages to come the tremendous generosity of the grace and kindness he has expressed towards us in Christ Jesus.

Ephesians 2:7 (NLT)
And so God can always point to us as examples of the incredible wealth of his favor and kindness toward us, as shown in all he has done for us through Christ Jesus.

You have been a recipient of Adonai's goodness and mercy. you know that He gave His only Begotten Son, Yeshua, to save you from your sins. And of course, you are exceedingly grateful for this His unsurpassed gift. However, you must realize that God did not stop giving after Jesus' death and resurrection.

The Lord God's very essence and nature is love. And it is the nature of love to give. Therefore, God continues to give, pouring out from Himself into you and your life now and through out the ages to come.
It is Adonai's desire to manifest and display His exceeding and surpassing riches, wealth, and abundance to you. Right now He has so much that He can throw and scatter it wherever He wills, knowing that He will never be diminished. His coffers are perpetually full and you cannot deplete them.

Adonai shows you these riches through His grace, which provides you with joy, pleasure, and delight. His grace has already placed you in His good will and favor. Now He delights to show you mercy and kindness. Through His grace you are strengthened and your faith is increased. There is no end to the benefit and bounty that His grace affords you. It has made you well and thriving.

Because of your Messiah Yeshua's sacrifice, God is not hard, harsh, or sharp with you; instead He is mild, gentle, and pleasant. He has made you virtuous and good, fit for His use. He upholds and preserves you, protecting and aiding you at all times. He controls your destiny.

9-10-07 Isaiah 61:3

Isaiah 61:3 (NAS)
To grant those who mourn in Zion, Giving them a garland instead of ashes, The oil of gladness instead of mourning, The mantle of praise instead of a spirit of fainting. So they will be called oaks of righteousness, The planting of the LORD, that He may be glorified.

Isaiah 61:3 (NLT)
To all who mourn in Israel, he will give beauty for ashes, joy instead of mourning, praise instead of despair. For the LORD has planted them like strong and graceful oaks for his own glory.

There may be times when you face calamity and death, when you mourn and lament. However, the Lord God has not appointed you to remain in this state. For these distressing times, Jehovah has ordained His glory and beauty to adorn your head. He has given you ornaments for the ashes and worthless things that you have experienced. Instead of mourning, Adonai has anointed you with the oil of gladness, joy, and exultation.

The Lord has wrapped you in His very own mantle. Although your life was dark, dim and colorless, now you are full of songs of praise and thanksgiving. Your boasting in the Lord causes you to shine. You are no longer faint and weak.

Adonai calls you a mighty tree, one that He Himself has planted. Through Him you have been fixed and established. He has made you a strong and righteous; you are a leader and chief in His kingdom. You are one of the Lord's nobles and He has given you prominence and wealth. Your life brings Him glory.
