4-11-08 Deuteronomy 20:10, 11 First Offer Terms of Peace

Deuteronomy 20:10, 11 (NAS)
When you approach a city to fight against it, you shall offer it terms of peace.And it shall come about, if it agrees to make peace with you and opens to you, then it shall be that all the people who are found in it shall become your forced labor and shall serve you.
Deuteronomy 20:10, 11 (NLT)
As you approach a town to attack it, first offer its people terms for peace. If they accept your terms and open the gates to you, then all the people inside will serve you in forced labor.

Sometimes in your relationships with others, you approach them in the attack mode. However, when you come near to them, check to see if they are guarded and not open because of previous terror or anguish. It may take time to for them to open up and lay themselves bare to exposure. Try not engage in battle right away. Instead extend an invitation of peace, friendship, and tranquility.

You may find that they will answer you favorably.They will open up, as they believe they can be free with you. The peace that you sow will be returned to you in kind. You will find a completeness and wholeness in your relationships that you never experienced before. You will have safety and soundness that you never thought possible.

When you enter into a covenant of peace with others, you will notice that restoration and reward follows. The time you spend together will be wholesome and good; you need not fear injury. You will be secure in the mutual benefit that you give each other. These peaceful relationships will become as tributaries that branch off of the main river. You will feed each and draw strength and peace from each other. You will also learn to work for and with each. You will serve one another in the love of God.

4-10-08 Isaiah 58:12 Rebuilding Deserted Ruins

Isaiah 58:12 (NAS)
And those from among you will rebuild the ancient ruins; You will raise up the age-old foundations; And you will be called the repairer of the breach, The restorer of the streets in which to dwell.

Isaiah 58:12. (NLT)
Your children will rebuild the deserted ruins of your cities. Then you will be known as the people who rebuild their walls and cities.
++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
You have experienced things from your past that have caused ruin and desolation. The Enemy has tried to lay you waste and destroy you. He brought parching heat against you, so that you were constantly in drought. He brought a sword against you and cut you deeply. He intended to smite you down and then slay you. That is why he continually attacks and fights against you.

Therefore, the Lord God raised Someone, Jesus His Son, who would have the strength and the authority to rebuild and re-establish you. His plan was for you to continue and to endure. He wanted you to exist forever with Him. However, He needed to restore your foundation and to fix everything that had been broken in your life. Instead of being far away, Adonai provided for you to be seated close to Him.

Through this, His ultimate and on-going plan is for future generations to draw near to Him and to have their dwelling place with Him. These next generations being raised up will see your relationship with the Lord God and they too will desire intimacy with Him.You have been commissioned for this; the Lord proclaimed and appointed you, endowing you with everything you need to accomplish His will for the future generations.
You are called to build walls around weaker ones.

Like Jesus, you are called to stand in the breach, where their walls have been broken down and to protect them from violence. Your words and actions should help others to return to God. You have been equipped to bring restoration and refreshment to those who are lost and those who are infirm. You help to bring them back to the path that they used to travel. They have been on a devious, crooked, and winding road; however, you have been given the mission to show them the straight and narrow path again. Then they will no longer be bent and distorted.

With you, these precious ones will learn to dwell and stay with Adonai. You will show them that they are now seated with Christ in Heavenly places. You will lead them into the same place of peace and rest that you now enjoy, for you are Adonai's ambassador to fulfill His covenant.

4-6-08 Isaiah 49:8 On the Day of Salvation the Lord Will Help You.‏

Isaiah 49:8 (NAS)
Thus says the LORD, "In a favorable time I have answered You, And in a day of salvation I have helped You; And I will keep You and give You for a covenant of the people, To restore the land, to make them inherit the desolate heritages;
Isaiah 49:8 (NLT)
This is what the LORD says: "At just the right time, I will respond to you. On the day of salvation, I will help you. I will give you as a token and pledge to Israel. This will prove that I will reestablish the land of Israel and reassign it to its own people again.

When Yeshua (Jesus), the Son of God, satisfied your debt you were then able to receive the favor of God. He showed you that now you were acceptable to Him; He delighted and took pleasure in you. He desired a relationship with you so much that He was willing to sacrifice His finest and His best for you. He has pardoned you and reconciled you to Himself. He has also set His affection and approval on you and your life.

Now you know that the Lord God gives heed to you. He pays attention to your prayers and responds by speaking His word into your life. The answer, that He gives you, will always lift you up and cause you to shout, sing, testify, and bear witness to Adonai's goodness. You know that when the heat was on, Almighty God sovereignly brought you the salvation, deliverance, and victory that you needed. Suddenly, you were surrounded and protected by the presence of the Lord. You are certain of His help and aid at all times.

Adonai guards and protects you, maintaining your life. He hides and conceals you from your enemies and He always preserves you. He has a special plan for your life. He has given you to others to fulfill His covenant in their lives. He has selected you to feed the sheep of His flock because you are cleansed, pure, polished, and bright. He dispatches you to create new life in those who are dead in different tribes or nations.

Through you, those stunted and devastated places will be lifted up and established. What was destitute and laid waste will be made good again. Strength will come allowing then to endure and succeed.

What was nothing but destruction will be made into an inheritance, an estate that all desire to possess. It will be as a stream in a thirsty desert or a wealthy mine. The Lord God takes those things that have been rejected and cast off and He makes them into precious treasures.
