Since you have acknowledged Jesus, the Messiah, as your Lord and Master, He will tell others that He has chosen you, especially if they question your origin and your call. You were not selected grudgingly, but heartily. The Lord knew what He was doing when He called you by name; it was not a random selection. Although He knew that you would be a vessel useful to Him, He also desired to show you His kindness, favor, and love.

Adonai picked you to bear His gospel and to carry His name. He has entrusted you to give testimony of Jesus wherever you go. You have His authority to reveal everything that His name covers, such as His character, majesty, power, and excellence. You represent Jesus Christ in the presence of godly and ungodly men alike. Many watch you from a distance, but with the intention of earnestly inspecting all that you say and do.

Almighty God has called and appointed you to go to many races, tribes, and nations. He will send you to kings, those who possess sovereign rule and the foundational power of their realms. You will also go to the children of Israel, Adonai's first chosen people. To all of these, you will be a witness of God's goodness and faithfulness, for the Lord has stamped you with His seal and made you His esteemed representative. Those who receive you will also receive your declarations of the Lord. You, however, must also lift up the name of Jesus to those who will not receive or believe. In these cases, you must endure, knowing that God will sustain you.

5-26-08 Psalms 106:4, 5 The Lord Shows Favor to His People

Psalms 106:4, 5 (NAS)
Remember me, O LORD, in Thy favor toward Thy people; Visit me with Thy salvation, That I may see the prosperity of Thy chosen ones, That I may rejoice in the gladness of Thy nation, That I may glory with Thine inheritance.

Psalms 106:4, 5 (NLT)
Remember me, too, LORD, when you show favor to your people; come to me with your salvation. Let me share in the prosperity of your chosen ones. Let me rejoice in the joy of your people; let me praise you with those who are your heritage.

The Lord Jesus always remembers you, for He has marked you as His own. He sits at the right hand of His Father and He intercedes for you. He mentions your name; He recounts and records all that you do for Him. The Lord is ever mindful of you and thinks well of you. He delights and takes pleasure in you. He has satisfied the debt of sin that you owed, for He desired to bestow His favor upon you. The Lord God has accepted you; He approves of you and sets His affection on you. Through Jesus, you are pardoned and reconciled to God. You are of His tribe and His nation. You are Adonai's very own child.

When the Lord God visits you, He comes only with friendly intentions. He cares for you and has taken charge of your life. The Lord Jehovah continually makes deposits into your life, for He has saved and delivered you. Now you have victory, health, and prosperity through His aid. Because the Lord rescued you, He now keeps you safe and free. He is your defender. He has brought you into a wide and open place, where you will be preserved forever.

Now you behold Adonai's goodness daily, for He has made your life better. He desires to give you only from His best. You have seen His bounty, freely given to you. His provision puts you at ease and makes your countenance cheerful. Everything precious and sweet within God's treasures are yours for the asking. You enjoy His favor and His grace, for you are His chosen one, whom He selected and appointed to join His family.

The Lord has brightened your face and He makes you rejoice. Gladness and mirth are normal aspects of your life. The Lord Jehovah has given you an inheritance; He has endowed you with property and possessions. He has allotted you a portion of His Kingdom, dividing and sharing it with you. This causes you to shine; you, therefore, boast and praise His glory, for He is worthy of all praise. Praise ye the Lord. Hallelujah!!

Anyone who has walked with the Lord God for any length of time knows that the way to be happy and blessed is to do what He says to do. You have learned to agree with Adonai. You are committed to following His commandments and His precepts. In obeying His charges and bearing the load He gives, you will find rest. As you exercise His will, repeatedly and habitually, you will find fulfillment and gain. People will say that you are fortunate and well off.
Your continued obedience to the Lord God also brings you other privileges. You have the freedom and the right to draw from the tree of life. Through the remission of your sins, by the blood of Jesus, the Messiah, you have access to the life that God possesses. God has freely given you this life through your faith and trust in Him and He is also the One who maintains His gift to you. This life is eternal and righteous. Jesus poured out His life so that you could receive authority to act in behalf of God on the earth. He has given you the power, strength, and influence to minister under His jurisdiction.

You have also been given the right and the privilege to enter through the gates of the city of Almighty God. As you do, you will find more abundance, exceeding all of your expectations. There you discover all of the fullness of God.
