12-30-06 1 Chronicles 17:27

1 Chronicles 17:27 (KJ21)
Now therefore let it please Thee to bless the house of Thy servant, that it may be before Thee for ever; for Thou blessest, O LORD, and it shall be blessed for ever.

1 Chronicles 17:27 (NAS)
And now it hath pleased Thee to bless the house of Thy servant, that it may continue forever before Thee; for Thou, O LORD, hast blessed, and it is blessed forever.

1 Chronicles 17:27 (NIVUS)
Now you have been pleased to bless the house of your servant, that it may continue forever in your sight; for you, O LORD, have blessed it, and it will be blessed forever.

1 Chronicles 17:27 (NLT)
And now, it has pleased you to bless me and my family so that our dynasty will continue forever before you. For when you grant a blessing, O LORD, it is an eternal blessing!

You may tend to think of God as unloving and mean, especially if your father demonstrated those attributes. That, however, is the furthest thing from the truth. Adonai is a Heavenly Father who loves His people. In fact, He loves the world so much that He sent His Son, Jesus Christ, to give His life for your salvation.

Jehovah the Lord is pleased, willing, and determined to bless you. He adores you and wants you to be happy and at peace. Even your dwelling place, the home in which you live, has the blessing of God on it. Wherever you are, you do not receive curses from His lips, but praises.

As you continue to worship God, the blessing that He began will continue forever. Starting with you, the blessing will proceed on to your descendants, so that you always have a son bearing your name before His throne.

You can be assured that when the Lord speaks blessing over an individual, a family, and a home, that blessing will go on forever. Jehovah only speaks what He intends and His intentions toward you will never change. He wants you blessed and blessed you shall be.

As you look at the end of this year and the beginning of a new one, you are probably re-evaluating your plans and purposes. You may be setting new goals or making the decision to keep on pressing towards your original one. However, neither will be successful unless you consult and include the Lord Jehovah in your plans.

Jehovah has always existed and He has been making plans since the beginning of time. He knows the best for you and He desires to bless you. As you put your plans and purposes in His hands, He will guard and protect you along the way. He has charge of you and will always bring you the salvation that you need. You are His treasure and He watches over you, observing every detail of your life. He celebrates and cares for you.

The Lord your God has turned His face towards you and He will make your path clear. He is your Light and shines on and illumines your way, which becomes brighter and brighter. In your journey, you will always have His grace, favor, and mercy. He bends down towards you in consideration and encamps around about you. And yet, He lays siege to your enemies.

Jehovah will lift you up and help you bear up under everything. He will always carry, support, and sustain you so that you can endure. Through His favor you will rise and be exalted, for He has ordained and established you. He has set you as a sign to the world of His great mercy. In His presence you are made whole and complete. The Lord has only your welfare in mind; He, therefore, blesses you with health, prosperity and peace. As a friend of God you have quiet tranquility and contentment. Almighty God has established an eternal covenant with you and you need not fear the future.

12-28-06 2 Samuel 7:27-29

2 Samuel 7:27-29 (KJ21)
For Thou, O LORD of hosts, God of Israel, hast revealed to Thy servant, saying, ‘I will build thee a house.’ Therefore hath Thy servant found in his heart to pray this prayer unto Thee. And now, O Lord GOD, Thou art that God, and Thy words be true, and Thou hast promised this goodness unto Thy servant. Therefore now let it please Thee to bless the house of Thy servant, that it may continue for ever before Thee; for Thou, O Lord GOD, hast spoken it, and with Thy blessing let the house of Thy servant be blessed for ever.

2 Samuel 7:27-29 (NAS)
For Thou, O LORD of hosts, the God of Israel, hast made a revelation to Thy servant, saying, ‘I will build you a house’; therefore Thy servant has found courage to pray this prayer to Thee. Now therefore, may it please Thee to bless the house of Thy servant, that it may continue forever before Thee. For Thou, O Lord GOD, hast spoken; and with Thy blessing may the house of Thy servant be blessed forever. And now, O Lord GOD, Thou art God, and Thy words are truth, and Thou hast promised this good thing to Thy servant.

2 Samuel 7:27-29 (NIVUS)
O LORD Almighty, God of Israel, you have revealed this to your servant, saying, ‘I will build a house for you.’ So your servant has found courage to offer you this prayer. O Sovereign LORD, you are God! Your words are trustworthy, and you have promised these good things to your servant. Now be pleased to bless the house of your servant, that it may continue forever in your sight; for you, O Sovereign LORD, have spoken, and with your blessing the house of your servant will be blessed forever

2 Samuel 7:27-29 (NLT)
"O LORD Almighty, God of Israel, I have been bold enough to pray this prayer because you have revealed that you will build a house for me—an eternal dynasty! For you are God, O Sovereign LORD. Your words are truth, and you have promised these good things to me, your servant. And now, may it please you to bless me and my family so that our dynasty may continue forever before you. For when you grant a blessing to your servant, O Sovereign LORD, it is an eternal blessing!"

The Lord Jehovah is the Lord Sabaoth, Lord over the hosts and armies of Israel. He is the One Who wages war on your behalf and you are under His protection. He is the God Who prevails over all.

He has uncovered and revealed His plan for your life. He has spoken promises for your ears alone. You have hearkened to and been obedient to what He has disclosed. He, therefore, intends to build up your house and your family. He has established them and they will continue. They shall be a dwelling place of the Living God permanently.

You are secure in praying from you heart unto the Lord your God, for you know you can trust Him. As you turn your heart to the Lord Jehovah, He becomes your Lord and Master. Adonai is Lord of lords and King of kings, who has all authority. His words are firm and sure. He is faithful and His truth is reliable and stable. When you stand on His word, you stand firmly on the Rock and there is no sifting sand under your feet. It supports, upholds, and nourishes you. You know that He has spoken good and pleasant promises to you, promises that speak to your benefit, welfare, and prosperity.

You are not afraid to ask for and seek God's blessings on your life. It is not foolish to look to Him for such favor; for He has already determined that He will do it. So ask for His blessing on your house; forever shall you and your family be blessed and give praise to the name of the Most High G

12-27-06 Psalms 14:3

Psalms 14:3 (KJ21)
They have all turned aside; they are all together become filthy. There is none that doeth good; no, not one.

Psalms 14:3(NAS)
They have all turned aside; together they have become corrupt; There is no one who does good, not even one.

Psalms 14:3 (NIVUS)
All have turned aside, they have together become corrupt; there is no one who does good, not even one.

Psalms 14:3 (NLT)
But no, all have turned away from God; all have become corrupt. No one does good, not even one!

During the Christmas season you hear much about good will to men. Most people do try to be better, but even their best behavior falls short of the perfection that Adonai, the Most High God expects. He tells us that everyone has turned and departed from the right way. These same people who try so hard at this time of the year go out of their way to avoid any contact with the Almighty and reject what He says.

It seems that men enjoy uniting and joining together in corruption. They are all morally tainted. What they do is not good, acceptable, or pleasant in the eyes of the Lord. They do not produce anything that is excellent or has eternal value. They do not know how to act appropriately. As a result, they are not happy or prosperous. Few know how to treat their fellow men with kindness and understanding.

Therefore, the Lord Jesus came to earth as a man born of a woman. As a baby, He was laid in a manger, for men did not make room for Him. As a man, He went to the cross so that men could make room for Him. Those who believe in His selfless act are given the power and the ability to demonstrate true goodness and kindness. Through the cross those who could never be good have been made perfect.

12-26-06 Isaiah 45:2, 3

Isaiah 45: 2, 3 (KJ21)
I will go before thee, and make the crooked places straight; I will break in pieces the gates of brass, and cut in sunder the bars of iron. And I will give thee the treasures of darkness and hidden riches of secret places, that thou mayest know that I, the LORD, who call thee by thy name, am the God of Israel.

Isaiah 45: 2, 3 (NAS)
I will go before you and make the rough places smooth; I will shatter the doors of bronze, and cut through their iron bars. And I will give you the treasures of darkness, And hidden wealth of secret places, In order that you may know that it is I, The LORD, the God of Israel, who calls you by your name.

Isaiah 45: 2, 3 (NIVUS)
I will go before you and will level the mountains; I will break down gates of bronze and cut through bars of iron. I will give you the treasures of darkness, riches stored in secret places, so that you may know that I am the LORD, the God of Israel, who summons you by name.

Isaiah 45: 2, 3 (NLT)
This is what the LORD says: "I will go before you, Cyrus, and level the mountains. I will smash down gates of bronze and cut through bars of iron. And I will give you treasures hidden in the darkness—secret riches. I will do this so you may know that I am the LORD, the God of Israel, the one who calls you by name.

The Lord God has promised you many things and one of those things is that He would go before you. You need to know that wherever you go, He has already walked there. During your journey if you encounter rough places, Jehovah will smooth them out for you. If the path seems unusually crooked, the Lord will straighten it. He will also lead you to a level plain, which you will find to be pleasing and agreeable.

Sometimes you may come up against a closed door, something that blocks your way and keeps you from fulfilling what God has planned for you, what you have dreamed. However, this is only a temporary problem; for the Lord will break down that door, even though it is made of copper or bronze, shattering it in pieces. And if you seem surrounded by iron bars, Yeshua will cut those bars apart, setting you free again.

The Lord has stored treasure in secret, obscure places. He has purposely saved this hidden wealth for His sons, for you. Although it has been buried in dark places, the Lord will bring it to light and bestow it on those He loves and has called by name. Jehovah has called your name, inviting you to become His son and to partake of all the riches of His kingdom. He has given you a portion of His treasure store so that you will know and recognize that He is the Lord God of Israel, the One who blesses and raises up His sons

12-25-06 Isaiah 9:6

Isaiah 9:6 (KJ21)
For unto us a Child is born, unto us a Son is given; and the government shall be upon His shoulder. And His name shall be called Wonderful, Counselor, The Mighty God, The Everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.

Isaiah 9:6 (NAS)
For a child will be born to us, a son will be given to us; And the government will rest on His shoulders; And His name will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Eternal Father, Prince of Peace.

Isaiah 9:6 (NIVUS)
For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.

Isaiah 9:6 (NLT)
For a child is born to us, a son is given to us. And the government will rest on his shoulders. These will be his royal titles: Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.

Almighty God, the Heavenly Father, has brought forth His Son, born of a woman. And, He has given that Son, Yeshua to men and to the children of men. He was entrusted into the hands of men and then delivered up to death by those same hands. It was the task His Lord assigned Him and He committed Himself whole-heartedly to it.

Adonai has bestowed on Him all rule and dominion. He now has the power to contend for the souls of those same men who delivered Him up. He holds the government of the affairs of mankind on His shoulders, for He has been raised up and sits at the right hand of God.

His name is proclaimed throughout all of creation. His reputation, fame and glory are well established. He invites and summons the sons of men to meet with Him. When these decide to accept His invitation with glad hearts, the Lord shares His name with them, covering them with His glory.

He is Wonderful, having carried out God's judgment and redemption in His own body. Although this act of love is difficult for men to understand, it is marvelous and extraordinary.

He is Counselor, for He has been made unto men Wisdom, Sanctification, Redemption, and Righteousness. By His Spirit, He establishes His purposes and plans in the hearts of those men who belong to Him.

He is the Mighty God. He is strong, powerful, and great. He is valiant and prevails mightily against the enemy of men, the accuser of the brethren.

He is the Everlasting Father. He is the Word, who was with God from the beginning. He was with God and He was God. He, then, became the Word made flesh and dwelt for a short time with mankind. He now reigns forever as the Head of the Church; for He was the first born of many brethren.

He is the Prince of Peace, Shalom! In Him, men are made complete, whole, and sound. His kingdom is one of quiet tranquility and contentment. Health, prosperity, and safety are received through His friendship. He is Lord and reigns forever over all.

12-24-06 Isaiah 30:19, 21

Isaiah 30:19, 21 (KJ21)
For the people shall dwell in Zion at Jerusalem; thou shalt weep no more. He will be very gracious unto thee at the voice of thy cry; when He shall hear it, He will answer thee...And thine ears shall hear a word behind thee, saying, "This is the way; walk ye in it," when ye turn to the right hand and when ye turn to the left.

Isaiah 30:19, 21(NAS)
O people in Zion, inhabitant in Jerusalem, you will weep no longer. He will surely be gracious to you at the sound of your cry; when He hears it, He will answer you...And your ears will hear a word behind you, "This is the way, walk in it," whenever you turn to the right or to the left.

Isaiah 30:19, 21(NIVUS)
O people of Zion, who live in Jerusalem, you will weep no more. How gracious he will be when you cry for help! As soon as he hears, he will answer you...Whether you turn to the right or to the left, your ears will hear a voice behind you, saying, "This is the way; walk in it."

Isaiah 30:19, 21(NLT)
O people of Zion, who live in Jerusalem, you will weep no more. He will be gracious if you ask for help. He will respond instantly to the sound of your cries... and you will hear a voice say, "This is the way; turn around and walk here.

You are one of God's chosen people and you dwell in peace. The peace that rests on your life makes you a signpost and monument to others. The Lord Jehovah has caused you to be preeminent and excel above your fellow men.

Although previously you were were in a place of weeping, now Yeshua is your joy. You were humiliated and grieving. but He has been gracious unto you. You are a recipient of God's favor and mercy. When you cry out for help, putting sound to your voice, the Lord listens attentively and with great interest. He understands what you need and grants your requests.

You must keep your ears attuned to His voice; when you hear His words, you must be obedient to them. Agree with and consent to what He says; for He will give you promises and commands to direct you. He will tell you the way that you should take. With each step of your walk, His words will lead you. If you are to go right, He will tell you; however, if you need to turn left instead, His words will guide you in that way as well. As long as you listen to Him, you will not walk in the dark, but continue on the right path for you life.
