3-1-08 Ecclesiastes 2:26 Gof Gives Wisdom, Knowledge, and Joy

Ecclesiastes 2:26 (NAS)
For to a person who is good in His sight He has given wisdom and knowledge and joy, while to the sinner He has given the task of gathering and collecting so that he may give to one who is good in God’s sight. This too is vanity and striving after wind.

Ecclesiastes 2:26 (NLT)
God gives wisdom, knowledge, and joy to those who please him. But if a sinner becomes wealthy, God takes the wealth away and gives it to those who please him. Even this, however, is meaningless, like chasing the wind.
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
The Lord God's benefits are pleasant and good. When you need favor, He grants it. When you center yourself in His will, He gives you abundant joy and delight. Your welfare, prosperity, and happiness are uppermost in His heart.

To bring you fulfillment in these areas, He gives you wisdom, teaching and instructing you in the principles that will bring you success. This wisdom will never wear out or become old, but it will allow you to enjoy all of God's benefits to the full.
With the wisdom, He gives you knowledge, discernment, perception and understanding. Through experience, you begin to acknowledge and confess those things that Jehovah has revealed to you concerning your life. As you walk out His plan and purpose for you, your joy, mirth, and gladness increase. You will find pleasure in things that would seem impossible to others. Soon you will discover that your life is a happy one.

However, the sinner has forfeited these blessings. He has missed the right way and has incurred guilt, condemnation, and punishment through his actions and choices. The Lord God gives this man only work and busyness. He becomes afflicted and oppressed, depressed and downcast. Adonai allows this to humble the sinful man. In his weakness, he will repent and turn to the Almighty for help and deliverance.

The sinner, who continues in his own way, gathers and collects things. He believes that in this he is safe and secure. He does not realize that what he has gathered will be given to others. The fruit of his work is empty and vain; it passes as quickly away as a breath and a vapor. His longing and striving leads only to feed and pasture the Lord's flock.The good man, who has placed his trust in the Lord, will receive the benefits of all of the sinner's labors.

2-28-08 Deuteronomy 5:26 You Can LiveIn God's Presence

Deuteronomy 5:26 (NAS)
For who is there of all flesh, who has heard the voice of the living God speaking from the midst of the fire, as we have, and lived?

Deuteronomy 5:26 (NLT)
Can any living thing hear the voice of the living God from the heart of the fire and yet survive?
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
You know that nothing born of sin can stand for very long in Adonai's presence. God is holy and those who come before Him must be holy as well. Anyone born of the flesh cannot live in His presence.

You, however, have been given a fresh new existence, for you have been born again of the Spirit of the Living God. Sin and death no longer have the mastery over you. You have heard the sound of the Master's voice and you obeyed Him when He called. Whether He thundered or whether He spoke lightly, a spark was ignited in you to give ear to His words.

Now you have a cheerful and rosy countenance because you have followed His call. He has given you the joyful work of announcing and publishing His glad news. As the Lord's messenger, you preach and show forth the good tidings of the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Even if the Lord Jehovah appears to speak to you from the very center of a fiery flame, you need have no fear. His words are not meant to negatively subdue you, but to arrange your life to reap its fullest blessing. Instead of destruction, He desires to speak promises to you and He seeks to commune with you. He has revived you, making you alive. Instead of receiving death in His presence, you are quickened, preserved, and nourished. In His presence, you are made whole

2-27-08 Psalm 5:11 God Shelters Those \who Love Him.

Psalms 5:11 (NAS)
But let all who take refuge in Thee be glad, Let them ever sing for joy; And mayest Thou shelter them, That those who love Thy name may exult in Thee. Forever you will praise and exalt in the Lord Jehovah.

Psalms 5:11 (NLT)
But let all who take refuge in you rejoice; let them sing joyful praises forever. Protect them, so all who love your name may be filled with joy.
++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
You have sought refuge and you have fled to Adonai the Lord to protect you. You trust Him to take care of you and you have confidence in the Lord your God. You know that you can confide your deepest secrets to Him and they will be safe. You need not fear that He will do you harm in anyway. Because of this, you can rejoice and be glad continually.

You know that your future is secure in the Almighty; you, therefore, perpetually have a shout of joy on your lips. Songs of rejoicing come up and out of your mouth, even in times of distress and trial; for you know that the Lord always keeps you hidden and concealed.

Adonai has built a hedge and a fence around you. He has shut you in and covered you with His presence. He is the One who blocks and stops the approach of your enemies. Even if your opponents could get close to you, they could not distinguish you from God; for the Lord has woven you together with Himself. You are one with Him.

Now you love the name of the Lord, for He has extended His compassion to you, making you righteous. He has become your friend and companion. Your life has been transformed and you are fixed, established, and planted in His Kingdom. Jehovah called out your name and invited you to be His. In this you exult and rejoice. You are overcome with the joy of being a child of the Most High God.

2-24-08 Isaiah 65:16 Blessed By The God of Truth

Isaiah 65:16 (NAS)
Because he who is blessed in the earth Shall be blessed by the God of truth; And he who swears in the earth Shall swear by the God of truth; Because the former troubles are forgotten, And because they are hidden from My sight!

Isaiah 65:16 (NLT)
All who invoke a blessing or take an oath will do so by the God of truth. For I will put aside my anger and forget the evil of earlier days.
++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
It has become easy for you to speak blessings over others and God is pleased with that. However, you must also learn to speak blessing over your own life, for it is the blessing of the Lord that enriches your life. Like Abraham, God desires to bless you so that you can be a blessing to others.

What words do you use to invoke the Almighty's blessing? You use the words that He has spoken about you. God's words, which are true and faithful, confirm and support, uphold and nourish you. As you agree with the Lord's declarations and promises, you are firmly established; you stand and endure. Therefore, it is important that you trust in and believe every word that comes from the mouth of Jehovah.

If you are ever called upon to swear an oath, you must swear only according to the Word of God. To do otherwise means that you are agreeing with a lie and falsehood. If your words are not based on truth, your words and oaths become curses and not blessings.

Do not forget what the Lord has done for you. God has delivered you from your former troubles and released you from your bonds. Your life used to be narrow and cramped, but now He has enlarged your territory. Your enemies no longer vex and press hard upon you.

The Lord Godi, however, has forgotten how you used to live. He has hidden and concealed the sin in which you walked; He no longer sees your transgressions and trespasses. Now when He looks upon you, He sees only His truth active in you and that is how you must see yourself. It is the truth of God's word that has set you free and it is the Truth that will keep you free
