10-20-07 Psalms 60:4

Psalms 60:4 (NAS)
Thou hast given a banner to those who fear Thee, That it may be displayed because of the truth. Selah.

Psalms 60:4 (NLT)
But you have raised a banner for those who honor you—a rallying point in the face of attack. Interlude

Adonai has claimed you for Himself; He, therefore, has set up His banner and sign over you. In this He proclaims that He is your King and has authority in your life. He is showing the world that He has lifted you up. He is your Provider and you are consecrated to Him.
Now you stand in fear and awe of your Lord. You revere, honor, and respect Him. Your life inspires the fear of the Lord in others. They see your attitude toward God and how He has blessed you.

When you are under the banner of Adonai's Truth, you drive at your enemy, as a warrior on horseback rushes to the battle. You fly to the attack and enemy flees before you. Your opponents think only to escape and hide from the Truth that your face presents to them.
Therefore, continue to lift up and exalt that Truth. Do not make light of it, toss it aside, or reject it. It is what will weigh each circumstance of your life and keep you in balance.

10-17-07 Isaiah 12:4

Isaiah 12:4 (NAS)
And in that day you will say, "Give thanks to the LORD, call on His name. Make known His deeds among the peoples; Make them remember that His name is exalted."

Isaiah 12:4 (NLT)
In that wonderful day you will sing: "Thank the LORD! Praise his name! Tell the world what he has done. Oh, how mighty he is!

Adonai has employed you; now your business and occupation is to speak for Him. Morning and evening you declare His promises and commands. Through your song you lead others to the Lord and put to flight the enemy.

Boast and give thanks for what Jesus has done for you. Acknowledge and declare the Almighty's deeds. When you laud, praise, and confess Him, you show how proud you are to belong to the Lord. You know that He chose you, calling out your name, inviting you into His family.

Now you call upon His name. giving Him glory. When you cry to Him for help, you know that you can rely on the Lord's reputation; you know He will extend compassion to you.
So exalt His name among the people. Remind them that Adonai is high and lifted up. Make a memorial to His fame and glory!

10-16-07 Psalms 37:7 (NAS)

Psalms 37:7 (NAS)
Rest in the LORD and wait patiently for Him; Do not fret because of him who prospers in his way, Because of the man who carries out wicked schemes.

Psalms 37:7 (NLT)
Be still in the presence of the LORD, and wait patiently for him to act. Don’t worry about evil people who prosper or fret about their wicked schemes.

When you see men plotting things with evil intentions, it is easy to be angry. It is especially difficult when these wicked schemes, plans, and purposes begin to produce. However, you must not let yourself continue to burn in fury when they prosper and advance. Instead take your concerns to the Lord Jesus. Maintain your silence and be still. Do not be anxious or allow pain and anguish to engulf you. As you wait patiently, expecting your Lord to act, do not be distressed, for your enemies will be cut off. Soon they will cease and perish.

You, however, will be astounded and astonished in the presence of the Lord. Through Him, you will bring forth your own plans and purposes. Therefore, continue to rest and wait for Him. You will not be disappointed.

10-15-07 Isaiah 26:8, 9

Isaiah 26:8, 9 (NAS)
Indeed, while following the way of Thy judgments, O LORD, We have waited for Thee eagerly; Thy name, even Thy memory, is the desire of our souls. At night my soul longs for Thee, Indeed, my spirit within me seeks Thee diligently; For when the earth experiences Thy judgments The inhabitants of the world learn righteousness.

Isaiah 26:8, 9 (NLT)
LORD, we love to obey your laws; our heart’s desire is to glorify your name. All night long I search for you; earnestly I seek for God. For only when you come to judge the earth will people turn from wickedness and do what is right.

Once you were just a wayfarer, wandering through life on your own; however, you soon found yourself on the path of justice, heading for condemnation and judgment. It was then you met Jesus the Lord and you discovered that He already took your sentence and was executed in your place. Now you keep company with Him as you journey through life.
Yeshua has become the desire of your heart. You long for His presence and wait expectantly to see Him fulfill you in every area of your life. You hope in His name, for you have been bound together with Him. His reputation, fame, and glory belong to you through Him.
In the middle of the night you find yourself longing and desiring Adonai. You seek and diligently look for Him. You approach and draw near to Him with all of your thoughts and emotion. He has become your delight.
Now you have the privilege to reveal the righteousness of God to the inhabitants of the earth. Through your life's experience, you teach and instruct them in what is right, just, and normal. They see the deliverance, victory, and prosperity that is yours through Jesus. You have shown them what it means to enjoy the salvation of the Lord.
