3-21-06 Job 6:10

Job 6:10 (KJ21)
Then should I yet have comfort; yea, I would harden myself in sorrow. Let Him not spare, for I have not concealed the words of the Holy One.

Job 6:10 (NAS)
But it is still my consolation, And I rejoice in unsparing pain, That I have not denied the words of the Holy One.

Job 6:10 (NIVUS)
Then I would still have this consolation— my joy in unrelenting pain— that I had not denied the words of the Holy One.

Job 6:10 (NLT)
At least I can take comfort in this: Despite the pain, I have not denied the words of the Holy One.

As much as you may not wish it were true, pain is a part of life. As a matter of fact, to accomplish what you believe you should do in your life, you often have to press through the pain. Even if you are writhing with anguish and sorrow, you must determine to leap up and spring into action. You may be trembling with fear, but the joy of the Lord will give you the strength to bear down and bring forth what has impregnated you for so long. In that joy you can find comfort and consolation.

You also know that Adonai will have compassion on you and His passion will not be sparing. Therefore, do not hide or conceal the Lord's promises and commands to you. You know what He has spoken to your heart. The Holy One wants you to carry out His wishes, for He has appointed you for such a time as this. Do not cut yourself off from His will, but go through the pain to the victory that He has already ordained.
