My son, let not these depart from thine eyes: keep sound wisdom and discretion; so shall they be life unto thy soul, and grace around thy neck.

You always have the choice to live righteously or to go wrong. Adonai, your Heavenly Father, always encourages you not to take the wrong and crooked path. That path may look exciting, but its appearance is deceptive. It is really a devious and perverse way to go. If you follow that road, you will be lost.

Instead of looking at the ways of the world, you should look to God's word, for it will guard and watch over you. You will be kept and preserved from any dangers that you may encounter. As you pay attention to what the Lord God says, the perverse thoughts that Satan throws you way will be blockaded. The wisdom and sound knowledge that you gain will give you abiding success. You will live your life with purpose and your plans will be established.

God's word always brings life. It brings you the freshness and revival of springtime. If you live according to the Lord's will, you will soon be living prosperously. Your health will be sustained, as sickness and death are kept far from you. If you feel discouraged and faint, you should turn to the law of the Lord for strength and courage. It will restore you, so that you experience new growth. God’s favor and grace will adorn your neck. You will always live in His mercy and acceptance.
