1-15-06 Psalms 119:115

Psalms 119:115 (KJ21)

Depart from me, ye evildoers, for I will keep the commandments of my God.

Psalms 119:115 (NAS)
Depart from me, evildoers, That I may observe the commandments of my God.

Psalms 119:115 (NIVUS)
Away from me, you evildoers, that I may keep the commands of my God!

Psalms 119:115 (NLT)
Get out of my life, you evil-minded people, for I intend to obey the commands of my God.

Even if you love Adonai, the Lord, evil still tries to penetrate into your life. However, it only has the leeway that you allow it to have. So when you see any wickedness making a move in your direction, you need to immediately speak to it. You need to tell it to turn aside. You should always reject its advances, for you know that if you receive them, you will end up injured, hurt, and broken.

Instead you need to determine to keep God's commandments. As you do, you will find that His code of wisdom will keep and guard you. As you are faithful to Adonai's word, it will be faithful to you. It will preserve you and keep you safe. You will continually be pleasing to your Heavenly Father and you will have His favor
