7-1-07 Revelation 21:5

Revelation 21:5 (NAS)
And He who sits on the throne said, "Behold, I am making all things new." And He *said, "Write, for these words are faithful and true."

Revelation 21:5 (Philips)
Then he who is seated upon the throne said, "See, I am making all things new!" And he added, "Write this down for my words are true and to be trusted."

Only One, the Lord God Almighty, has the power and authority to govern the world, as He sits on His royal throne, His seat of state, judges all the inhabitants of the world. He is firm, immovable, and steadfast.

From His place at the right hand of God, Jesus Christ the Lord speaks. His words pour forth and flow throughout the universe. He makes His thoughts known, declaring all that is in His heart. What He utters brings light, revealing His Truth. He pleads with mankind to look and perceive what He has done for us.

He has taken your old, wicked nature, and has transformed you into something new, fresh and unworn. What He did was unprecedented, uncommon, and novel; He changed you from a sinner into His righteous child. He has declared you in right standing with Himself and even gave you faith to believe this.

Then He wrote down His words so that you would not question or forget what He said. His mandates and decrees are real, true, and genuine. They are not fictitious, imaginary, or counterfeit. They are perfect, strong, and certain. There is no defect or any hidden, secret meanings in them. You can trust everything that the Lord has uttered. Like their maker, these words are faithful and reliable. What God promises, He does. You need not fear to place your confidence in Him.
