4-10-07 Psalms 17:14
from men which are Thy hand, O LORD, from men of the world that have their portion in this life, and whose belly Thou fillest with Thy hid treasure: They are full of children, and leave the rest of their substance to their babes.

From men with Thy hand, O LORD, From men of the world, whose portion is in this life; And whose belly Thou dost fill with Thy treasure; They are satisfied with children, And leave their abundance to their babes.

O LORD, by your hand save me from such men, from men of this world whose reward is in this life. You still the hunger of those you cherish; their sons have plenty, and they store up wealth for their children.

Save me by your mighty hand, O LORD, from those whose only concern is earthly gain. May they have their punishment in full. May their children inherit more of the same, and may the judgment continue to their children’s children.
The hand of Jehovah is open to you more often than not. Through it you receive provision and direction. God's hand is a symbol of His power and bounty. Even unbelievers receive of the Lord's goodness through His open hand. The power and strength of the Almighty's hand also protects and preserves you from men who do evil to you. Their lives are transient and fleeting; they glide swiftly by you, while you will endure throughout eternity. Their portion is only for this life.
Adonai is merciful and kind, even to those who do not believe. He is the One who fills their bellies. He furnishes each living thing with what it needs to remain strong. Every spring God brings freshness and newness. He preserves and quickens repairs and restores. He has put hidden treasures within each individual; these gifts and talents are meant to fill and satisfy and to help build their families.
What God has deposited in your life was put there so that you will have what you need. You will not only survive, but will also have an abundance to leave an inheritance to your offspring. Your success is uppermost in your Heavenly Father's mind and heart. Through your dependence on Him, you will always exceed and excel.
