Ask of Me, and I shall give Thee the heathen for Thine inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth for Thy possession.

Many people assume that they should not ask much of the Most High God. They think He is too busy to care about their seemingly small and petty concerns. That, however, is not how the Almighty thinks. He wants His children and people to ask Him for big and impossible things, for He is the only one who can grant them. This will bring Him glory and honor.

One thing that you can seek and request from the Lord God is that He would give you nations. But what exactly does that mean? In one sense, it means that God will cause you to rise and be exalted in triumph. You will increase in wealth and notoriety. You will receive favor from unexpected sources. In every area, your name will be lifted up. You will be blessed with possessions and an inheritance. The Lord will divide the lands of your enemies and set you upon that property. From one end of the earth to the other, you will be known; your wealth, lands, and influence will be great to all peoples.

Therefore, do not neglect to inquire of the Lord; He will do great and mighty things for you.
