2-10-08 Romans 11:15 Salvation for the World
For if their rejection be the reconciliation of the world, what will their acceptance be but life from the dead?
Romans 11:15 (Philips)
For if their exclusion from the pale of salvation has meant the reconciliation of the rest of mankind to God, what would their inclusion mean? It would be nothing less than life from the dead!
Romans 11:15 (NLT)
For since the Jews’ rejection meant that God offered salvation to the rest of the world, how much more wonderful their acceptance will be. It will be life for those who were dead!

The Jews are God's chosen people and the nation He has established for Himself. However, for a short while, He has rejected them; in a sense, He has cast them away from Himself. As a garment that is currently not in use, the nation of Israel has been laid aside, until Adonai is ready to to take them up again. This is only to fulfill the will of God for the Gentiles.
You have reaped the benefits of this temporary condition of the Hebrew nation. Because of this, through Jesus, you have been restored to divine favor. You have received atonement and reconciliation by His blood. The Lord God has exchanged your sinful state for one of righteousness. By your mutual agreement, you have been changed. Now you are completely different. God has removed you from harm and He cares for you as your provider.
Soon, Adonai will admit His chosen back into His friendship. He will receive them to Himself again and extend His grace and kindness to them, as well as you. Like you, they will receive life. Adonai will breathe His Spirit into them once more and bring them back from death. Through the resurrection of the nation of Israel, the rest of the world will take notice. Then others will seek to be set free from the death that held them for so long.
