4-30-07 Philippians 4:6, 7

Philippians 4:6, 7 (NIVUS)
Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

Philippians 4: 6, 7 (Philips)
Don’t worry over anything whatever; whenever you pray tell God every detail of your needs in thankful prayer, and the peace of God, which surpasses human understanding, will keep constant guard over your hearts and minds as they rest in Christ Jesus.

As a child of God, you do not need to be troubled with cares. Do not let your thoughts be divided which causes anxiety. If you begin to be troubled or anxious, pray! When you have a need, pray! In fact, pray about everything!

If there is something you want, desire, or long for, seek God and entreat Him on your own behalf. Let God have a thorough knowledge of your requests. Have a childlike confidence in your Heavenly Father! And always maintain a thankful and grateful heart, reminding yourself of the favors that God has done for you!

As you do this, the shalom of God, which brings security, safety, tranquility, prosperity, peace and harmony, will overcome all of your anxious thoughts--anything that your mind can understand, perceive, judge, or determine. It will guard and protect your heart from a hostile invasion--thoughts and ideas that are not in line with God's word and will. It will watch over your heart--the center of your physical and spiritual life--so that you can attain to all that God has planned for you.

Jesus Christ, Yeshua the Messiah, who cares for you and preserves your heart and mind, is your Prince of Peace!
