11-8-07 Matthew 12:37

Matthew 12:37 (NAS)
For by your words you shall be justified, and by your words you shall be condemned.
Matthew 12:37 (NLT)
The words you say now reflect your fate then; either you will be justified by them or you will be condemned.

What you say has power; your words going out from your mouth can create or destroy. There is life and death in your tongue. What you affirm will be maintained, whether good or evil.
Your words show that you are righteous. What you say gives evidence to the fact that through Jesus, the Lord, you have been justified; you are no longer guilty. No one can find fault with you, for the Lord your God has restored your innocence, by His very own blood.

However, if you do not walk according to the Word of God, your words can reveal something other than righteousness. Instead of showing your right standing with God, they will show the sentence of condemnation that your old man was under. Such unholy speech may cause you to have to pay a penalty and suffer punishment.

Therefore, be careful in what you say. Speak according to and in agreement with Adonai's word. In doing this you will be blessed abundantly and have no fear of death.
