12-28-05 Psalm 107:41

Psalm 107:41(KJ21)
Yet setteth He the poor on high from affliction, and maketh their families like a flock.

Psalm 107:41 (NAS)
But He sets the needy securely on high away from affliction, And makes his families like a flock.

Psalm 107:41 (NIVUS)
But he lifted the needy out of their affliction and increased their families like flocks.

Psalm 107:41 (NLT)
But he rescues the poor from their distress and increases their families like vast flocks of sheep.

If you are suffering want or need today, there is good news for you. Adonai, the Almighty God, loves you and He is concerned for all of your needs. Perhaps you have suffered oppression and abuse and you think there is no hope for you. However, not only is there hope, but the Lord God is able and willing to deliver you from any trouble that has found you. Even though you are poor, if you willingly accept God's help, consenting and yielding to His will and His word, you will soon find yourself beginning to prosper.

Jehovah the Lord will take away the affliction, poverty, and misery, that you have suffered and He will set you on high. No longer will you be lowly and in need, for the Lord will make you inaccessible to your enemies. You will be safe and secure. You will not be bowed down, but you will be exalted and walk uprightly.

Maybe you have been lonely and alone. It is God's desire to place you in a family, a tribe or clan that you can call your own. No longer will you be barren and swept bare, but you will find yourself in the midst of a multitude. He has called you His own sheep and you are part of His vast flock.
